Deck Description

Use cheap creatures to survive until you can crank out a win condition and crush your opponents. Since this deck was built to be somewhat affordable, it probably doesn't run the best options; however, you can still net several wins.

How to Play

The deck is relatively straightforward. Use cheap spells to survive until you pull out Phyrexian Scriptures or a Metalwork Colossus (which can be sideboarded for more lethal cards like Blightsteel Colossus or Darksteel Colossus if you're willing to spend extra).

Good early game cards include:
> Memnite (very good because it's zero mana for a 1/1)
> Tidehollow Strix (2-cost deathtouch and flying, good for blocking big creatures)
> Glaze Fiend (looks very underwhelming, but can quickly become powerful since most creatures in this deck are relatively cheap to cast)
> Etherium Sculptor (reduces the cost of artifact spells)
> Steel Overseer (slowly buff all your creatures)
> Dash Hopes (slightly underwhelming, but can force opponents to make hard decisions)
> Blinkmoth Urn (can help you crank out earlier)
> Go for the Throat (cheap destroy spell, but doesn't work against artifact creatures [so your opponent can't change the target to something you own and control]; Murder is sideboarded in the event that this becomes a problem)

Once available, the following should help secure you the win:
> Any of the Colossus creatures (very large bodies that can be easily put out with the help of a Blinkmoth Urn; Blightsteel is the best, but also the most expensive option due to infect)
> Phyrexian Scriptures (will probably wipe most, if not all, your opponents' creatures without nuking yours)
> Arcbound Crusher (should be cast as soon as possible to maximize it's effectiveness)
> Master of Etherium (can easily turn your weak army of creatures into a huge problem for your opponents)

Deck discussion for Dimir Artifact Creatures

would definitely run Baleful strix over Tidehollow. If your just looking for a chump blocker, the extra damage from Tidehollow is irrelevant and Baleful cantrips.
I dont love Dash hopes in here, mainly because your only running 20 lands so odds are that your likely tapping out on your turn and wont have the double black available. The other problem with Dash, is that it will never do the thing you want it to do, so you cant really rely on it.
I dont love cancel either, your not really a control deck, and you dont have enough mana to be able to play threats and counter spells.
I would include Thoughtcast, it should be very easy to cast in your deck.
I would also run a couple welding jar to keep your important artifact creatures alive
I would run Ornithopter over memnite for the flying. Will be beneficial once you get steel overseer counters on it etc.
I would definitely include some dual lands, even if its just 4 drowned catacombs
Good luck!

At 10 cents replacing 1 Phyrexian Scriptures with an Eldest Reborn seems like it would fit in this particular deck. Thanks for sharing!

Arcbound Worker could be an option instead of Memnite as you don't loose the power. I would also add 3-4 Cranial Plating because it's one of the best equipments available to artifact decks. You could also take a look at Thoughtcast and Darksteel Citadel, Thoughtcast giving you some carddraw and Darksteel Citadel increasing your artifact counter for Cranial Plating or strengthening Glaze Fiend
