so, I figured out I read harsh sustenance wrong lol, that card has no home in this deck
Also, I took the suggestion of replacing the whip and urborg as well as shuffling around a little extra to be able to fit in two deflecting palm... that fits in much better than the urborg or the whip.
Thanks!

Hi! personally, I feel like Hellkite Hatchling is a bit underwhelming--but I don't play dragons so I wouldn't know...
Welcome to the vault btw!

As a quick tip when you build decks to clean it up a little, when you import cards(lets take a land for an example) when you enter in the card, it'll bring the card up with all the defferent sets... so a forest from retur to ravnica is labeled as "Forest(RTR)" so rather than do that individually, click that card, but go over and enter the number of them you desire and it will show them all as on clump, the same as how creatures work :)

Deck looks nice! However, I would recommend running at least one(if not 2) of Garruk, Caller of Beasts to get the expensive cards out quick and get more dragons into play :)

Northern, you may have already done this... but... is there anyway you could do a small series on two-headed type decks? so a set of decks that synergize extremely well with each other and are made specifically for two-headed game play? I just think it would be pretty cool for anyone who just plays for casual needs versus heavy tournament play.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advice guys :)
I edited the deck a little bit, its name is hoomans2. I see where you are coming from with the priests as well as the paladins, but ive never been much a fan of boros elite tbh. I sideboarded some priests, but im keeping the path to exile to make sure I can deal with something turn one. rather than brave the elements(which is also sideboarded in the other version) I prefer gif of immortality simply for the scry effect since I have no extra draws or cycling. thanks for the suggestions tho!

It's funny you say that... I made another different version of this(Its in private view yet) but I cut the spare from evil and added 3 thalia, but wasn't sure where to go from there. I thought of how few land I had, and I have 2 extra fetchlands hiding in my box somewhere I was going to include so I can "eliminate" a card somewhat... I think you know what I mean by that :) Thanks so much!

I changed it to unlisted and you don't need to check, but just in case you were curious.
Thanks again!

I know this is an old deck so sorry for reviving it, this is one of the coolest ideas ever, I've never seen people or any of my friends design duel decks for fun, it's awesome! but... technically, since its a rare, wouldn't captain of the watch only be run as a 1 of?

Also, I've asked for help before... mind helping me once more? Need to know if this deck seems swell. Thanks in Advance!

I might be a bit late as someone else may have said this, but id suggest running 4 of each fetch land you can...(Flood Strand, Polluted delta, and Windswept Heath). that way , if you play those three rather than plains or islands respectfully, you're thinning your deck out slightly per fetch played increasing your chances to pull the cards you need... it's a small buff to the deck, but it might help the consistency!

Glad to hear I could help, one final note might be adding in a different land base...
City of Brass could help, or a creature named realmwright. that should give you a solid mana fix if you run playsets of each...or just one of them.

If not the rings or any library searches... maybe Sliver Overlord to get key slivers out later?
two headed sliver may be a better addition to the deck than Belligerent sliver, a little bit quicker as it only costs 2

just as another idea for a creature... id suggest removing the master of cruelties/aqueous form combo and instead put in some more mill cards and either lazav, dimir master mind or fogbanks. the fogbanks are for pure protection, while the lazav is just(to me) an incredible utility creature, especially in a mill.

Side-note, maybe put in one Jace, Memory Adept.

ok, in that case...
For starters, I'd recommend only 1 Nico Bolas and 2 Ashioks. Planeswalkers can be a great weapon, but, they are expensive(both $ and mana for the most part) making multiple copies often a hindrance more than an aid.
secondly, this card is pricy, but considering you have Ashiok in it I'd recommend running 4 Glimpse the Unthinkable(ravnica card)... 2 mana for 10 card mill is always fun.(if it is too expensive, mind funeral as well as mind sculpt are great alternatives) and that should help control off of a mill standpoint. Traumatize is fun too!

Sorry if that sounded rude... I don't mean for any of this to be mean, just as a friendly helpful hints and stuff :)

For a quick addition, fid a slot for mutavault as well as ring of three wishes. Never know when youll need a specific sliver or an extra attacking sliver(mutavault)
Also, 4 manaweft slivers are almost a necessity for ramping to ensure you get one, and gale rider is in my eyes one of the best(if not the best) slivers so I might run four of those as well.
Constructing sliver to me is not a good card for this deck, considering it is on the high side for cmc, most of your slivers have already entered giving you an army of (most likely) 4/4 flying death touch slivers, so exiling isn't a huge need haha!
Door of destinies -or- Coat of Arms is another marvelous addition, as they give slivers counters per sliver that enters.(sliver legion can also be of use in tht area)

Sorry I put a ton to look into in this comment... I know slivers and have been beaten up by many a sliver deck back when I ran mono green, so it's something I understand quite well... As to implementing any of those changes I have no clue what to move around and it is completely up to you and your preferences :) play how you wish to play! Good Luck

The hand disruption off Liliana is awesome, especially for tokens haha! Tokens are very applicable, and I can tell you off of experience(I have a token deck similar to this as well) that the instant speed for midnight haunting is very useful in certain situations, but I use the card more on my own turn for the additional fliers :)
but you are right, tokens are very very flexible, good luck in future games with it!

also, have you thought about adding some gather the townsfolk?

Is this meant to be a mill control grixis or a creature/counter grixis?

Don't forget about doomed traveler either! Also, I don't think i'd run emma tandris or seraph of the masses.... a bit too pricy for a quick paced token build. Probably rather be running giest-honored monks as well as intangible virtue, or honor of the pure and other token production cards.(Gather the Townsfolk)

All these counters from hydras and no kalonian hydra? Since you have 27 land and many ways to get that land, id suggest shaving that land base by one or two land, as well as maybe removing one Peregrination since they are a 4 of... do three of those and 26 lands and inset two kalonians cuz if you get those out, that's pretty much game IF it resolves.
