These aren't the best these decks can be I realize. I collect my cards organically by opening booster packs, pre-release kits, and bundles aka fat packs (sorry to any packs I offended by calling them fat, you are still loved). Would like to know how this deck would fare at a local FNM based on your experience.
I generally play defensive at first with Fountain of Renwal or Ajani's Welcome. Then it's about trying to ramp up mana to start getting some dino's on the field. I selected these dinos from the umpteen others I own in Standard due to of their utility. All have a very useful secondary that starts to ramp up in to a continual onslaught of physical and mystical damage.Needletooth Raptor has a couple of triggers in Atzocan Archer and Tionalli's Crown. I have found Forerunner of the Empire to be great for this as it allows you to tutor the card up and then trigger it on play, but I sideboard it most of the time as it reveals the card and I like to be sneaky. So very sneaky.
