Typical Arclight Phoenix deck. You're trying to loot off your Arclight Phoenixes into the grave and bring them back.The back strategies for when the Phoenix's get shut out of the yard or when you fumble the combo include Flameblade Adept and Hollow One.Flameblade Adept grows pretty significantly as you discard. This damage adds up and I've found myself winning some matches with this aspect alone.Hollow One also benefits off of discard/cycling. Samut's Sprint is mainly in the deck for this card. If you can get off two Faithless Lootings (or something that gets you to discard at least 3 cards), and still have mana left, drop your free Hollow Ones, play Samut's Sprint, get a scry, and if you have Phoenixes in your yard, they trigger off the third spell. This gives you Phoenixes and a hasty 6/5.Removal options in the deck are Lightning Axes, Shocks, and Lava Coils. You can easily save them or use them as loot fodder depending on the match up.Warlord's Fury and Crash Through are cantrips, but can be relevant at times.
