I came upon this deck idea while playing my casual Nicol Bolas deck, which features two copies of this beauty. Long before, I had dreamed of the possibility of having a very small card pool to recast Etrata continuously. Then I remembered that the card Doomsday exists, and here we are.
The idea is to ramp enough mana, or just Dark Ritual first turn, to cast Doomsday and exile everything besides 3-4 Etrata and whatever else you need, likely Crashing Drawbridge and/or whichever half of Forbidden Orchard/Expedite you don't have readily available, or one of the lifelink cards. From there, use Ancient Tomb and/or Mama Crypt to pay for the 2 for Etrata, then use Watery Grave/Forbidden Orchard for the colored mana. Not only will this give your opponent the creatures Etrata will be exiling, but it mana fixes you nicely. From there, it's easy money. The tutors are there to make sure you get the Doomsday you need for the deck go function correctly (or to search out Etrata repeatedly if all else goes wrong) and Prismite is there for more mana fixing. Lastly, your life total may become a problem. If it does, just use Blessing of Belzenlok/Rush of Vitality to not only strengthen Etrata and give her lifelink, but also possibly protect her from pinpoint removal. I hope I haven't missed any holes in the plan, but if I have, feel free to let me know.
