Alright, so upon discovering that Greater Gargadon is legal in modern, I decided to try to build a combo deck surrounding it. I have no idea how relevant or good this actually is, I just thought it was cool and a definite idea.
What you want to try to do is play Gargadon turn one with a mountain or shock land, a Llanowar Elves or Braid of Fire turn 2, then ramp as fast as possible to get Midnight Guard enchanted with Presence of Gond as soon as you can for the infinite tokens, then sacrifice them all to the Gargadon to finish the suspend and cast Rush of Blood and Rancor on the next turn to attack, hopefully for game.

Love it!! Such a fun idea...and definitely works with a big dude like gargadon!
I love the deck, but why have gargodon when you already have infinite elves?
For fun, I guess. I don't know. The only real advantage I see is protection from weenie boardwipes like Pyroclasm.
Yeah, elfcombo have had relations with big unsweepable creature for a long while :)
