Deck Description

While my favorite creature type in magic is spirits, fungus/saprolings is a very close second. I have a handful of decks based around these fun creatures, both 60 card and EDH, and I was excited to do something a bit different with Slimefoot. The focus with Slimefoot is less about making a ton of tokens and then beefing them up to attack, but more about making a bunch of tokens and then sacrificing them for various effects (such as Slimefoot's). So while I have a decent core of the Thallids to produce saprolings, I also have a good base of sacrifice effects, and finally I put in a decent amount of ramp to spam Slimefoot's secondary ability later in the game.

How to Play

The saprolings you make are rarely used for combat. Instead they are a resource for the rest of the deck to exploit. Build up a good stockpile, then kill them off. Rinse and repeat.
