Wanted to make a strict Boros themed deck (which why certain cards such as mizzium mortars and rubble-belt macas ain´t included) with most focus on aggro and the battalion theme they have going on. Gideon feels lorewise and playwise a good fit where he acts as another very durable body on the table that helps with Battalion. Not very removal heavy but wanted to include some Warleaders Helix and the semi-Lightning Helix from the Firemane Avenger.
Quite straightforward I would guess with quite strong 1-2-3 mana drops to hopefully secure the table quite fast with some protection through Boros Charm and Legion's Initiative. Hopefully Ash Zealot's CMC wont be to much of a problem, have to try otherwise I'll maybe have to swap her for maybe Wojek Halberdiers/Sunhome Guildmage/Truefire Paladin.
