Deck Description

Ever since RtR was released i was hyped at the thought of how the Rakdos guild would fare... While im saddened at the unused potential unleash had, i still thought to myself that i would make a rakdos deck. So after a few changes (can be seen in the changelog) it is as it looks to be above, and the gist of it can be seen in the how to play section.

* Changelog:
- Removed 4 rakdos cackler, 2 street spasm, 2 slaughter games, 1 havoc festival to get room for another nivmagus elemental and cremate, 2 deathrite shaman, 3 stab wound and 2 volatile rig. (Note: Yes removing the 4 cacklers left me with 5 1 manas, but frankly i find it to be absolutely crap, and through numerous games i have never had a good experience with the bugger.)
* DGM Changelog:
- Removed 2 Deathrite Shaman, 3 Nivmagus elemental, 2 Rix maadi Guildmage, 2 Skinbrand Goblin, 3 cremate, 3 dynacharge, 2 swamp 2 mountain and 1 necropolis Regent.
- Added 1 Rakdos, Lord of Riots, 2 Madcap Skills, 3 master of Cruelties, 2 Blood Crypt, 3 Blood Scrivener, 3 Lobber Crew, 3 Deviant Glee, 3 Spike Jester.
- Explanation: Previously the deck has been what i'd call "A rakdos deck playing Izzet" with the reliance of instants and sorceries to buff stuff like nivmagus. Now we're having a proper Rakdos deck, albeit more midrange-ish.

How to Play

This being an aggro deck, it is pretty simple. You get creatures, they kill the enemy, and you try not to die before them. That said, rakdos and cryptborn changes that around a little. Rakdos in particular makes the moment you cast creatures not the first, but the second main phase, being after the combat phase. So: i will now bring a rundown of fun stuff in the deck:
- Don't be sad your demon gets tapped, it costs them a creature, and it just gets stronger. And if they just have 2 left, feel free to dreadbore the other for massive butthurtness.
- Note that you still need a card to exile in a graveyard if you wish to exile cremate to buff nivmagus.
- with 2 deathrites in play, a creature and a land in your graveyard, you can get 2 life that way... if you severly need it, that is. At least exiling graveyards is all you do with it, so do it aplenty.
- Don't use your graveyard unless necessary. Why? because you might aswell remove theirs first, deals with any issues with flashback fanboys aswell.
- A way to quickly get damage on nivmagus is as following:
turn 1: nivmagus.
turn 2: exile 2 dynacharge/cremate
turn 3: Auger spree. Boom, a 9/2 in turn 3, or keep exiling to your hearts content if that is to your liking. (old)
- While most of what the deck is or can get over 4 toughness, be wary when getting your volatile rig killed.

Dragon's Maze says Hi, and changes the deck fully.
As the changelog says, its gone from a Izzet wannabe to a true rakdos deck.
Thus the new aim of the deck is to 1: Get strong creatures into play through damaging the enemy (Like Rakdos & Cryptborn), and/or 2: Have Master of cruelties spank the enemy unblocked (madcap helps) and then shoot the enemy (Example: Lobber crew) to seal the deal.
