Deck Description

So I'm not quite satisfied with this yet, but I want to run with the premise and see how it goes. I still need to scout the newer sets for anything relevant to my cause, as I dont think crypt ghast really fits at the moment. It helps the shades be nasty, but either I need to add more mana dumps, or pull those guys out.

So its a devotion to black deck, with gravestorm, key lime of the void, bojuka bog, and crypt incursion making sure the opponents graveyards are being stripped away. I should be fighting battles trading my creatures for theirs. The big tricks of course are the Living End/Death, wiping the field and recurring everyone's graveyard.

Right now there's a crypt ghast + shade/torment of hailfire sub theme, but that's either going to be cut or reinforced pending new card options.

How to Play

Most creatures are chosen specifically for their multiple B mana costs.
Vamp Nighthawk is just a solid card that trades well.
Hexmage might not cut it, but it does have a self sacrifice to prep for living death, plus a planeswalker murderer, so it's hard to bump off.
The shades are the heavy hitters, adapting form to get rid of big threats, or blocking most trample damage, while still perishing in glorious combat before the mass resurrection.
Gray merchant and mogis for devotion, evasive damage and haste.
Lastly crypt ghasts help me to keep up, ramp the shades more, and play the multiples.
Gravestorm effectively nets me more cards or murders their graveyards, a win win.
