Deck Description

This is my first MTG deck, so be kind. I only started playing recently, but I really enjoy it. I have played Yugioh on and off for a few years, but I wanted to see what the deal with Magic was. I got a Heroes vs Monsters Duel Deck thing for me and my friend to try the game out, and we both love it. Anyways, when playing the hero deck, I thought Sun Titan was a pretty cool card, and I liked the idea of basing a deck around controlling your own graveyard and swarming the field up that way. So here it is.

By the way, I am trying to keep the deck relatively cheap (the exception being Windswept Heath because I got a really good deal on it, it's a great card, and I figured it can only go up in price if I don't want it anymore). The most expensive card I want to buy (other than Heath) is Sun Titan , which is like $2-$3. So that's why there is no Path to Exile or anything like that in here. Anyways, all feedback is appreciated!

How to Play

Most of the cards are either bringing stuff back from the grave (Sun Titan, Resurrection, Eternal Witness, etc), deck thinning (especially with lands with Windswept Heath, Evolving Wilds, and Mulch and Satyr Wayfinder to some extent), getting cards in the graveyard to be revived or added to hand later (like Splinterfright, Mulch , or Satyr Wayfinder ), and defensive/counter cards (Rebuff the Wicked, Oblvion Ring). So I guess help me out in trying to make this idea the best that it can be.

Deck discussion for Green-White Graveyard Control

condemn works as a cheap path to exile if you find that you would want it. It doesnt exile it puts it to the bottom of the other guys library, but it works super well against agrro. Hope this helps.

Also the deck idea is solid, I can see your experience with the king of games helped you build this. Though I expected more 3 ofs ;P

Also consider gods willing over rebuff...it has more utility but does stop you targeting that card for the rest of the turn with white or green if you have to prevent a white or green effect, but it can deal with red worldfire effects and can be used to make your guys unblock-able if you need to.... that one is all your call really.

Thanks! Condemn does look cool, but I figured I would just use Oblivion Ring to get rid of things getting in my way (including non-creature permanents). The other cool thing about Oblivion Ring is that I can revive it with Sun Titan because it is a permanent. That being said, I will think about Condemn, I do like that card. I would just need to consider what I would want to take out for it, or if I would just want to replace Oblivion Ring with it. Thanks again!

Your right.... you know against any stupid fast decks you could side it in... seeing as OH ring works so well with your plan. Keeping 4 in your side board?

I hadn't really thought much about the sideboard, so I just added one, putting in your suggestions and cards I had considered putting in the deck before. I was also thinking about Hyena Umbra, but I'm not sure. I guess I will see how I feel about it after I have thought about it/playtested it for a while.
