There are many ways to get Dark Depths out, and when you do, you must strive to get a card that removes all the counters from it such as Vampire Hexmage. There is plenty of removal to slow them down as you pave your way to Dark Depths over a few turns. With a good hand, you could have a 20/20 indestructible Flyer 3rd turn.
