Deck Description

Well, good control decks that are around 150$ are harder and harder to come by. This specific one seems like it actually just has it all - that meaning something degenerate enough to be modern viable.

The prices.... maaay have gone up since I made this.

As all Thopter Sword decks, this one too assembles the combo, makes a lot of thopters, survives, gets a Time Sieve into play and wins on the spot.

I chose the UW variant because Esper would be too expenisve, and because UB seems weaker to me, especially without Ensnaring Bridge.

How to Play

Due to how extremely potent your endless array of thopters and life is against creatures, it turns out that you main worry is everything except creatures, ergo most - if not all of your counter magic should be focused on those. Which is a great thing for a budget deck.

Your plan is the live until the combo is online, then see what the main threat to you from that point on can be - and play in such a way that gives you the best chances of beating that threat.
