Deck Description

Name of the deck is well kown piece by Antonio Bazzini (1818-1897), an Italian composer, violonist. Piece is known also as "The Dance of the Goblins" (is that a coincidence you say, nah).

Bazzini was one of the most highly regarded artists of his time. His most enduring work is his chamber music, which is written in the classic forms of the German school and has earned him a central place in the Italian instrumental renaissance of the 19th century. (wikipedia)

Piece, is known to be difficult to play, with its extended passages of rapid double stops, artificial harmonics in double stops and left-hand pizzicato, is performed by several virtuoso violinists.

And here I put a link (for you who wants to listen) recording of a performance by Chloƫ Hanslip (Piano: Caspar Frantz)
