hmmm... i think i'm going to run this bugger a few times before just axing the idea, i was trying to make this act like small zoo's speed by putting a ton of mana ramping in the deck

i did not think of that, but that seems to be a lot of fun, particularly if I throw the hydras in. I plan on plying it out a few times to get a feel for it, the mana ramping i threw in may be enough to have it work well

i was going to run mayael the anima in there somewhere too, she'd help with the stompy cards when combo'd with the mana ramp (vorinclex turn 4 anyone?) and godsire would be really terrifying with the knights seeing as he'd get a +3/+3 for each knight and i could always throw a behemoth sledge on him for the tramples :) but elesh norn i'll need to wait on unfortunately.... and i'll need to buy up some double lands then >.< maybe place in FNM this week

wow, that does seem a lot better but my question is, do i put in 3 lands and 3 other cards (i mentioned above i was looking for elesh norn and godsire) or do i start with 6 and go from there?

get rid of the pawns and get some vampire night hawks, much nastier, also captivating vampire or bloodline keeper may be beneficial to the boosting, or just to create more vampires for you to use also, think about bringing your mana curve down, that 25% of your deck costing 5 is scaring me a bit

curse of the bloody tome would be a great add to this to help with mills, i personally use trepanation blade with scaleplexis for some serious removal and also the artifact keening stone, which is OP for mill in my opinion.
As far as cleanup, i'd cutback on draw cards and just add prosperity, which will force your opponents to draw a lot too, helping with the milling particularly if you have 4x jace's erasure out the merfolk looters could be replaced for something a little more beneficial to the mill strategy, i personally combo cold eye selkie with favor of the over being to hit for 3 every turn in the air, then be able to draw three cards and combo with Jace's erasure for the mill, also you should be running 4x tome scour if you have a mill deck, its one mana for 5 cards milled i'd switch that out for your chill of forbodings and a set of draw cards, seeing as its a really easy way to quickly off balance an opponent. I also feel as if the bounce back cards are unnecessary, unless you were to make a hand ravage element to the deck as well.
so recap:
Drawcards: replace for prosperity
Chill and a couple draw cards : Tome Scour
Merfolk Looters: replace for scaleplexis
1 elixer for keening stone
1 elixer for trepanation blade
-ruins, Ponder, Unsummon, Divination, Aether Adept
see how that looks, it shouldn't be too pricey to pick up any cards you don't have either
just my thoughts, hope they helped!

to be honest i'm almost looking at combining mana ramping with aggro to get out the biggest cards i can as fast as i can, then lay waste with titianic ultimatum or garruk or just wait for the primordial hydra to hit 20 and win with Mayael's Aria

may I suggest sanguine bond and furnace of rath to maximize on the pain dealing? the combo when combined with lifelink is more than enough to make someone cringe
