I would probably drop [[Elite Vanguard]] and put in [[Soldier of the pantheon]] Same stats, but you could gain some life with [[soldier of the Pantheon]] at least. Makes it that much better.

says you can only use the "remove a counter effect" doesn't say you cant "cast" more than one per turn.
Man, If you had mana bloom in there it would be nuts. You can cast the x for mana bloom for zero, so once you have blossoms out, you cast mana bloom for the one green to draw two cards.
decided on grim gaurdian instead, works a little better, that defense is hard for aggro to get around, and it helps squeeze in that little extra damage that i need. Also dropped lifebane zombies from the main board, and replaced them with lotleth troll.
Yeah it did horrible at locals. couldnt quite get that 20 damage in on them before i died, or i died from dark prophecy or blood scrivener randomly.

I am worried about devour flesh for the time being, but other than that, it won't take many attacks to win the game. usually turn 4 or 5 is a win.
I was half expecting a Heroe's Podium in this deck. GJ though.
I like this deck. Lot of removal. Have you thought about using Reaper of the Wilds?
Polymorphist's Jest + Anger of the gods during their turn almost always wins me the game. Either that or Curse of the swine + Anger of the Gods. I took 4/30 at my locals. Even went up against top tier decks like mono blue and mono black devotion. I just side out the infinite combo. Take out ral zareks, Nissas, and the chain veil, put in some hard-to-kill dudes and a few extra counter spells to cancel those hero's downfalls.
He enables you to cast sorceries during your opponents turn, and he is a 5/5 flying and help with your devotion to keranos. Mostly so you can use anger of the gods on their turn.
Oh I c. Using it multiple times in a single turn. Wayyyy better than I had originally thought! GJ.
Have you thought about using Hypersonic Dragon?
retraction helix is only until the end of the turn, which means you only have 3 triggers with midnight guard and purphoros.

Have you thought about Chord of Calling yet? Cast it for 7, to cast polukranos str8 from your deck to the field.
I think adding Nylea's Disciple, or Karametra's Acolyte would be good. Help you sustain/mana ramp.
