With the low mana curve there are not really that many bad hands. You should want to start with some creatures in hand though, them being more important than most of the instants and sorceries. Some of the creatures can get through by themselves but if not removals like abrade and magma spray are there. Repeating barrage is mostly there to have constant damage once you have no cards in hand for hazoret. This deck tries to kill opponent before they can play threats such as scarab god or god pharoh's gift. Cycle cards help if you cant get good top decks once you have a low hand size.
