Deck discussion for Soldier extended

Since you're running Isochron Scepter, Dawn Charm and Path to exile are really good cards. If you're opponent is running another creature deck and you dont have your bearings yet, you can have him go through and then all the damage can be prevented. Also, i run Icatian Javilineers and Goldmeadow Harrier (or whipchorder) in my soldier deck to put a little bit more control.

Door of Destinies might be a better choice than coat of arms. Its slower to get moving, but fortunatley it doesnt do anything for your opponent. If you're playing another tribal deck it might make your defeat.

No mobilization?

I used to have mobilization in the past, very early even in combination with castle :),
but over time I removed it. Yes it is nice, but on the other hand I didn't realy need it anymore.
Somethimes I put it back in, but usualy it's more effective to play without.

Have dawn charm aswell, somethimes use it instead of bathe in light, but bathe of light has come in handy a lot more so I tend to stick with that one lately.

Thx for the nice advise, about door of destinies, I been thinking of removing coat of arms,
it hasn't come in handy in any games of late and starts feeling a little outdated. The only draw back on door of destinies would be that it won't work when using isochron+raise the alarm.

So i've played probably 10 or 15 games with my soldier deck, and the whole idea to start off with was Iso + raise the alarm, but i never actually got that combo going. For that reason, i had mobiliazion (which helped me alot, since i was playing another token army.) First Strike + Vigilance really works great. I was thinking about using Endless Horizons too, because that would allow me to make a bunch of tokens every turn, and i could suspend Benalish for a long while.

Door of Destinies also has a plus. If you get wrathed, and you only have 1 creature out, he still gets +7/+7 etc. =D Not true with coat of arms.
