Feel the 'Legacy' Burn

by UndeadCow on 08 June 2013

Main Deck (60 cards)

Artifacts (1)

Enchantments (4)

Land (20)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Just a simple burn deck.

PLEASE NOTE: I do not, and will not, use any cards that were created after Scourge. I only use cards that existed prior to the start of Mirrodin. (I know this is stupid but it's my one and only rule.)

Any suggestions would be great.

How to Play

Focus the player as much as you can. If their creatures are hurting you too badly focus them instead, but try to wait until you have repercussion out so that you can focus the creatures while dealing damage to the player at the same time.

A great combo is repercussion, pyroclasm, and mirari.

Deck discussion for Feel the 'Legacy' Burn

I love the way Wizard's Of The Coast made Lightning Bolt, then made so many crappy cards to try and copy it. They should reprint Lightning Bolt in M14

Lol, I agree 100%, my friend. The same goes with many cards, like black lotus.

You have an odd rule about your suggestions, any reason behind it?

Long story, short? I'm a stubborn idiot who stopped playing after Scourge, and decided to come back 10 years later, lol. I also don't play competitively, although I wouldn't mind doing so. It's hard to find vintage/legacy tourney's however. Obviously I would have to scrap that rule, lol.

I'm going to say what I said on your Angel deck. There is a list of cards that would help this deck below. Most of them do not follow your stupid rule, as you cannot make a deck competitive in Vintage or Legacy that doesn't use newer cards.

Lava Spike
Vexing Devil
Keldon Marauders
Goblin Guide
Kiln Fiend
Ball Lightning (You can use this one)
Browbeat (you can use this one too)
Flame Slash
Spark Elemental
Hell's Thunder
Stromkirk Noble
Hellspark Elemental
Forked Bolt
Assault Strobe
Rift Bolt
Gut Shot
Staggershock
Spark Elemental
Falkenrath Exterminator
Markov Blademaster
Havengul Vampire
Slith Firewalker

the rule might not be stupid, there could be a very good reason for it. But you have listed most of the things that i would have

Anything that you wouldn't have or would swap out? Just asking because you said "most of the things I would have".

@SoulofMirrodin

Actually browbeat is a great idea, and a great way to keep my hand full. Thank you.
