Deck Description

NUMBER TWO IN THE EMO TRILOGY!
(Decks where the player pretty much hurts themselves)

Edit: Took out Cauldron of Souls and Cauldron Haze and added Ashnod's Altar. Repeatable ability which gets me infinite Oozes, infinite +1/+1 counters, and infinite colorless mana.

How to Play

Persist + Melira keeps the -1/-1 counters off your creatures, making them come back from the grave every time they die. Use Gutter Grime and kill your own creatures to get tons of Oozes, then pull a Glaring Spotlight for major damage.

Deck discussion for [EMO] Self-Slaughter

Looks cool, but why Cauldron Haze and Cauldron of Souls? Pretty much all but Melira and Blood Artist have Persist, do you really need to give it to them as well? I would suggest putting a nice sac outlet in the place of those cards, because now you have something to do with your recurring creatures!

Birthing Pod is expensive, but fills the sac engine quite well.

Thanks! I've been looking through Sac Engines and I do agree that Birthing Pod is pretty good.

You should throw in a couple Exsanginates or similar effects to utilize infinite mana with the Ashnod's Altar.
