with electromancer itd be 5 mana but if i put both out i wouldnt complain to have to only pay 4

true but if i have it in cuz guaranteed i'll have at least one of the goblins in. and i have to let the mana build up since theres no ramping in that hand s it might work out

what am i thinking....there wouldnt be a next turn. the goblin and the hatcher would swing as well making for 20 damage

Sample hand 2 lands, 2 goblin electromancers, 2 breaches 1 emrack 1st draw is emrakul 2nd is emrakuls hatcher then a land aven fleetwing and then another land id have emrakul out by turn 3 or 4 and then maybe another on turn 5 or 6 not completely sure as its late and im tired lol

i think i got what your saying now. basically its one spell so the mana cant be spent if its not there yet. but it can still work just takes a few more turns

wouldnt emraks protection from colored spells cover most of that?

in that case i know from talking to somoene on the mtgjudge website that if something resolves at the same time ie: obzedhat ghost council and whip of erebos you choose which is to go 1st

i think we may need another opinion lol the way i see it i tapped 2 mana giving me 3 using 2 of that gives me desperate ritual and 4 more mana which gives me the cost of the splice. taking that into through the breach and then emrak. but if your correct that means id have to wait til turn 4 to put him out.
