Infect is brutal.

Type your deck name...I played basically this exact deck back when it was ZEN-Scars standard.

just replacing the invigorates for the green pump spell with rebound, was a super fast glass cannon deck, glad you like it!

Pendelhaven is everything you want in a land.

It would be if i was trying to port this to modern, but because I'm not I am keeping my forest count up so I can free cast invigorate.
It is a sweet land though.

Throw 2 in over 2 islands. You'd still have 9 blue sources and you only have 7 cards that require blue mana. The free pump on every creature you play is worth it.

Sure why not, I'm just not used to keeping it under a certain budget, so i get sketched out when i can have fetches lol

Because turn 2 wins. Only in legacy/vintage.

That's not true, I had turn 2 win's when this was legal in standard. In modern all you need is a combination of groundswell's, might of old krosa and mutagenics. hope they dont have removal lol. Which is why its nice to have probes.

You're also playing infect, and a turn 2 win is everything the deck wants to do. Isn't infect pretty much the only turn 2 win in modern at the moment?

I think storm can still do it, but they have to be on the draw and have the perfect hand.

Yes, I also have an Infect deck. And they do win in 2 and 3 turns.
Decks like that are fun, it is all or nothing. If they counter/ping/block/fog...it is ALL OVER for you! But if it does get through, you just laid down the beatdown on your opponent.

Well to be fair, if i ported this into modern I would probably add some pacts of negation etc to help push through on turn 2-3 when you want to all in.
burn is the bane of the deck... that and spellskite lol

Pact is a good card for stopping your opponent from trying to counter you going "off" on them. It is a pretty penny, in price, I believe. For a good reason!

Melira Pod would also work this over. Infect has more bad matchups in modern than legacy, in my opinion.

That's because in legacy you have a lot more "free" spells to protect your package.
You will still wreck pod in game 1 if you have any kind of good draw, pod game one normally only has 2-4 removal spells/thoughtsiezes which means if you land a creature and beat turn 2-3 you can just win.

gets a lot hard game 2-3
