Deck Description

A mill-control deck. Isochron Scepter does some heavy lifting, reusing Mana Leak, Smother, or Familiar's Ruse (+ Snapcaster) to keep opponents in lockdown. Shelldock Isle gives you a free spell, Bojuka Bog shuts down Goyf, Visions Refuel your hand (you can even stick it on a Chron, drawing four cards a turn!), and Glimpse, Mind Funeral, and Increasing Confusion mill for A LOT.

How to Play

Turn 1: Their deck has 53 cards. Watery Grave, Hedron Crab. They crack a fetchland. Archive Trap them. 39 cards.
Turn 2: 2nd Hedron Crab. Evolving Wilds, grab an Island. Their deck is at 26 cards. Halfway there!
Turn 3: Land (Hedron Crabs trigger for 6), Mind Funeral, milling about ten. Their deck has only 9 cards left.

Mill isn't as slow as everyone thinks, but it does have the capability to run long with Mana Leak, Snapcaster, Smother, and Isochron Scepter.

Sideboard: Chronic Flooding and Hurkyl's Recall are for Affinity, clearly. Chronic Flooding gets good value if you can land it on a Glimmervoid, because that's sometimes the only source of colored mana.. Extirpate helps take down some decks, and can't be countered or responded to. Jace Beleren for a control matchup and Inquisition against aggro.

Deck discussion for Modern Million

Maybe throw a Psychic Spiral in there. It has the potential to mill fourteen or fifteen cards, and you won't have to worry about drawing stuff that's already in your hand or in play.

Take out dream twist, add in mind sculpt or breaking. While dream twist fits on the stick, it's either 3 cards every turn for free, or 6 cards for three mana that can't be brought back out by snapcaster, and honestly, there are better things to put on it. Breaking and mind sculpt are 8 cards milled and 7 cards milled for 2 mana respectively, that can be re-cast by snapcaster. They also work wonders with hideaway.

I wanted something that fit into my curve better. If you want, I can take it out for Tome Scour?

That's also good.

VINTAGEFTW:
You should see some of my work.
I got a very reliable modern mill killing at turn 3-5 (mainly 4-5)
I've scored 9,9,6,9 and 12 points with it at the last 5 tournaments I played with it (I changed deck because of a new project)
(In case you don't know, 3 points equal one defeated opponent)

I also copy the newest mill-decks in modern whenever someone gets top 8 with one:
The one below was winning a thirdplace, played by someone named naniha...
