Deck Description

Decided to mess around with this idea on a whim. The way it works is based around Joraga. You want to get him out and then put counters on him later. Gyre adds major ramp, your lands add major help with counters, and the paragon gives everybody trample.

How to Play

Main goal is to get Joraga out early. Start ramping up counters with your lands or the magistrate early on. Use green sun and the staff of domination to help get out more elves and draw cards. Staff will combo for infinite mana and infinite draw as usual with either archdruid or gyre sage, but this deck is not designed around that mechanic, that is simply an afterthought.

If you want to increase raw speed you can place in collected company in place of the staff. Similarly, the staff can be removed in favor of some of the other nasty things I threw in the sideboard.

Deck discussion for Elvish Counter Driver

So lush growth doesn't ramp you and with the 13 md green sources in your land and gyre sage you will always have the mana you need.

You need to think about your sb with this deck though. Playing in casual I know people don't use the SB allot so I would say that replace the 4 lush growth with 2 reclamation sage and 1 setteen tactics or possibility Ulvenwald Tracker so you can zenith for it. These kind of things allow you to interact with the combos that a casual playgroup that doesn't keep up with ban lists will (eventually) find.
