i might be missing something but would the turn 2 Eidolon not be 7/7?

Yes it would. On that note the Hoplite wouldn't be indestructible, the card says prevent all damage.
You are right, I posted this is a rush and accidentally made adding mistake.. I'll change title. And I understand it's not really indestructible.. just easier to say that for quickness
