I've recently added a Tinker and a Darksteel Colossus. It's good for some laughs.

There is interresting synergy with the Alchemist and Preachers, since they are now considered clerics. Pump-knights would also be good, but for now I'm grooving on the Kithkin theme.

/Looking forward to Light from Within.

I sometimes play a slightly different version swapping the following cards:

Spirit Guides > Shivan Wurms
Spark Elementals > Bolts
Forks > Might of Oaks

Don't forget to read the overviews. I made room for 4 Woodlurker mimics, which is a good midsized beater. Also, with two tutors and four drains, the drains come up fine. Fourth or fifth turn is about all it takes to get off a big one. Small swarm decks like slivers, kithkin, and faeries get wiped pretty easy with Pernicious Deed. This deck flounders a bit against control.

Yeah, but both decks would totally fail against my massive e-peen.

Also, Savor the Moment works well in a deck with Vigilance.

You could add some counter. Mana Leak and Rune Snag work nicely.

I added four Gemstone Mines. I meant to do that earlier, but didn't :(

The win conditions do rely heavily on Channel the Suns with a possible Twincast. Just a fun deck, though.

I use a Mana Crypt. It's in the deck description.

I have used Quirion Dryads to a similar effect.

Nice combo! Not a fan of the restriction rules, eh?

Vampiric Tutor is restricted.

Indeed. They even unrestricted Berzerk and Mind Twist and nobody's won yet with discard or beatdown (unless they're playing four Workshops.)

Pitch the Shocks for Chain Lightnings and add two more Bosium Strips.

Auramancer's Guise would be pretty sweet on the Prophets or maybe Steel of the Godhead. Serra Sphinxes also come to mind, even though they're not merfolk. I'd also put in at least four more pieces of counter since it's pretty much mono-blue.

FYI, Ponder will be restricted as of 6/20. Weak, I know.

to realistically play a 5-color deck, you need to invest in lands, specifically Gemstone Mines, Cities of Brass, and duallies (even the wanna-be duallies are ok these days.)

Let me know where you intend to go with this and how serious you are and I'll try to offer more specific help.

The deck lacks focus, but I'm assuming you're just playing with what you have. The artifacts can mostly be dropped, even if it's just for more copies of slivers or creature buffs. Try to get ahold of some Crystalline Slivers and Muscle Slivers. Depending on the coin you have available, try to pick up some of the 7/7 legends, especially at least one Queen.

Sliver decks end up being expensive mostly because they tend to be 5-color. The Gemhides let you get away with a little splash, but...
