Deck Description

This deck basically revolves around building up so much life that no matter what your opponent tries to do to you, even if you are taking direct attacks, it really won't do them much good. Once you play sanguine bond, you are essentially doubling or quadrupling (if you have rhox out) your damage. Solid amounts of lifelink and flying assure that you are usually able to heal up every turn you have creatures out.

How to Play

Basically just keep gaining as much life as possible. It really is that simple. Cards like your SOTF and Wall of Reverence will block or deter most creature attacks and there's a good amount of flying to either block with or avoid your opponents front line. Try and get your staves out early along with cards that build like wall of limbs and ajani's pridemate. The real power of the deck comes out when you have sanguine bond, which is the most essential card of the deck. This will finally turn all the life you're gaining into lethal damage. Once you get it out, make sure you also have your wall of reverence with some creatures with a decent amount of power like your baneslayer angel or an ajani's with a couple of counters. The key combo in this deck is sanguine bond, wall of reverence and Serra avatar, which will pretty much kill any opponent not building life in one or two turns. You can boost the effect even higher by having your rhox fairhmender on the board, as well. Diabolic tutor comes in extremely handy to grab those key cards for your combo, but don't be afraid to use it to remove your opponents key cards. Sometimes digging for your removal is just as important. Unmake will make quick work of any creature threat, and solemn offering not only removes key enchantments but also heels you a bit, which obviously is the core mechanic here. Getting out a card like angelic accord early is also a great play because you have so many angels out on the board, if you opponent doesn't have an answer for flying, you've pretty much won the game just with that card. All in all it's a very strong deck and one of my top performers. I definitely run this as my main "go to" deck when playing.
