Ah. Wild evocation comes out later, however, which means that will fewer cards to evoke. Since the draw step happens after the upkeep, the chances that your opponent will continue to utilize wild evocation are low. I think if you wanted to stop them from using wild evocation, you would run cards like duress in order to instantly mitigate that threat starting on turn 1. Nighthawk will win most creature encounters early, unlike the specter which is only useful for attacking. Specter isn't a bad choice though, and it may be worth trying the deck with both separately to see which variant is the most successful.

You could use deck shrinking fetches like bloodstained mire, polluted delta, and scalding tarn. I understand, however, if these are being avoided due to price constraints (especially scalding tarn; it needs a reprint). Also, if you want to rely on one creature to keep you alive through the early game, why not vampire nighthawk?

You are running the Esper wedge. Therefore, assuming cost doesnt matter, you can run 4 strix, meddling mage, demonic tutor (format based), and you might as well run some off color stuff like Damnation for mass removal. Then again, Helldozer is a really annoying card and it can be supplemented by cabal coffers and dark ritual. Also, sinkhole is a-holish hard.

Very true. Such a funny casual deck though.

Needz one MOAR mutavault! I would honestly use glaring spotlights over Ready // Willing simply because it messes with my opponents as well. It also removes the dead Willing half in Ready // Willing from the deck. I understand if Ready // Willing is in your deck due to price constraints; it could be beneficial to run 2x Glaring Spotlight and 2x Ready // Willing for versatility purposes. :D

Ghost Town is in the sideboard in order to supplement Squirrel Wrangler. If you were wondering, now you know!

Before posting, please know that I understand that this deck is only legal in Freeform. My friends and I play Freeform as our main format, and this is legal, although I rarely use because it is incredibly powerful. I understand that it is not the strongest deck that could have been built. To its credit, however, it costs less than 10,000 dollars.

Definitely screw the format rules. If you want this to be insane, throw in some Fastbond cards and Glacial Chasms. And add Zuran Orb and Horn of Greed to just guarantee no one wants to play you again.

This deck seems very promising. You could possibly use Dragon Fodder, Empty the Warrens, or Goblin Assault to keep up the supply of obnoxious creatures on the table. Also, Roar of the Crowd could be a useful choice for chunking an opponent's health at an opportune time. Lastly, I might add an additional Krenko, Mob Boss, simply because he fuels this deck towards madness and drawing him is very important if not pivotal.
