Siege gang is awesome and definitely worth putting in but vanquisher's banner and experimental frenzy give you basically unlimited fuel; sometimes they will stabilize and you will have four or five turns before they can kill you even if you do nothing. Vanquisher's banner will fill your hand off of frenzy while frenzy makes your hand irrelevant.
