if you end the turn while something is on the stack everything that was on the stack is removed from the game... thus if you use your sundial when the sacrifice trigger gets on the stack, it is removed so you dont need to sacrifice it the same goes for the final fortune when the losing effect gets on the stack, you end the turn thus you don't lose it is explained a little better on the instant "Time Stop"

like you said lots of double edged cards so you could always use something simple like elixir of immortality to shuffle your cards... also, you should consider a way to stay alive... you could alway use the good old isochron scepter + silence combo...

nice deck i like the idea but i would remove the timewalks like you said you dont play with them and they are really not affordable plus i think that it is making your deck illegal in most all formats... whereas if you remove them (and change a few lands) it even becomes legal in modern...

from gatherer (which is the official wizard card encyclopedia) it says : You can't make any decisions that aren't called for or allowed by the game rules, or by any cards, permanents, spells, abilities, and so on.

to me it has always been a deck in building i have never actually succeeded into getting all these cards i'm more of a thinker i find a card that looks cool or a concept i appreciate and i try to build the best deck out of it desperate gambit is nice but most of the damage these cards do is repetitive so i don't think it would actually be worth it...

it does show that great minds do think alike

is it just me or the fact that you are not playing anything until turn 5 makes me think that things can go wrong very fast, especially in EDH.(anything to help you get leverage i mean cause you are never going to use any of your cards to put pressure or block)

yea i get that its just that with your deck playing only 8 creature out of 60 (when its not already on the battlefield) you will find that evryone one else is drawing a LOT more cards then you(mainly because you have so few creature) but also you have to think about the player that plays a creature base deck who is going to have so much card advantage(witch they always lack of) that he is going to be able to destroy all players at ounce fairly easily. then again multiplayer is a very tricky "format" due to the fact that you are playing with your friends and you all have a different point of view and you usually know what they are playing annyhow i really like your deck and love to play it but like i said heartwood storytelling i find frustrating but you could always play fount of mythos instead?
