hmmm i had a merfolk deck that played different from this and it rocked, to me this looks pretty solid although the mana curve is wierd and usually that matters in merfolk but maybe not here since you have some counter.

Looks good but i would have to play it in order to see how it plays. Other than that it looks good, got a good mana curve and has some creature removal to stall the game, i would use the sceptar with the white card that makes it to were you can't lose the game and just mill them lol.

I would maybe side deck felidar because he will depend on what type of deck you are playing against. If you play a fast deck he will be a dead draw but against a deck that starts slow then he will be very good. I would go with two malakir bloodwitches instead of butcher because she will help with sanguine bond and felidar with her ability. I would drop the piranha because they are not that good unless you have a fast black deck, instead i would go with polluted mire because you can cycle it and have some type of draw advantage. the kabiras are ify but you can just see how they play out. Other than that this seems pretty good.

Straight up it looks pretty good. You have the control to stall the game enough and once you get out lorthos you most likely will win. Nice job. +1

My first idea for a standard deck was a blue black vamp deck. I like what you have so far although it can be improved on like the consume spirits and maybe get some vamp night hawks. Definitely get some draw advantage in here, maybe drop 2 feast of blood or unsommon since you have a lot of creature prevention cards this way you can draw your sanguine then combo it with blood tribute for the win. Other than that it looks great, i also recommend Kalastria, bloodchief lady becuase with her ability its like a consume spirit that just kills creatures and makes her way stronger for a good finish.

Well you only have 56 cards. Not a bad idea but your mana curve isn't to great although you do have some mana accel. In standard i don't think this would be fast enough although if you replace the llanowar elves with overgrown battlement you will be better of because with just 2 of those in play both will produce 2 mana each increasing the speed of this deck a considerable amount and will keep it standard. Other than that it looks as though it could be pretty fun to play with.

Well i try not to go past 3 color decks but from what i can see this deck would very well be fun to play with. Also thanks for the advice, i made some of the changes you suggested and bought most of the cards today plus some others, unfortunately i could only get my hands on 1 obsidian fireheart. If you can please check it out again. This kind of makes me want a five color deck, although i have thought of a lot of decks as you can see from my profile.

I find that hand of Emrakul far more powerful than any of them. I run a deck that is red green eldrazi that can put him on the board on turn 3. My friends looked at the deck before played them and said it would'nt work but the truth is when you drop a 7/7 with annihilator 1 on turn three it becomes hard to deal with. I also run that combo off of Awakening Zone Orcish Settlers.

Turn 1 - play a land
Turn 2 - Play a land and put down a Nest Invader
Turn 3 - Play Brood Birthing and sacrifice alll four for Hand of Emrakul
Then from there flame slash their creatures drop an awakening zone and destroy there lands with orcish settlers and they lose. My deck is not standard but is unbeaten so far.

I suggest life burst instead of rest for the weary. with sanguine bond life burst at max efficiency can do 12 but 40 total while rest will do only 32 at best but could also do even worse for a total of 16.

Well creature wize it seems pretty good. Spell wize could probably be better in my opinion but i would play test it first. Play test it then give me the results

Far better in appearence than mine although i made a few changes. I was actually thinking of throwing in my vamps as well but i like the shadowmoor cards i have. It looks to me as though it would be pretty mean.

Ok i can see your running a burn type deck. First off i have to ask why all the fetch land because the only thing they are good for is searing blaze. But it seems to me you have a bit to many. I would cut back because you don't want to pay unneeded life early in the game, trust me i know this for a fact. Searing blaze is an ok card but also look at it this way - a. searing blaze could end up being a bad card for you doing only 1 damage, b. If you want to use it as a burn i am sure you can find something alittle more useful, - c. if you want it for creature removal there is a few options for it like flame slash and terminate. To me searing blaze is a chance card but if you do keep it take out some of those fetch lands that make you pay life because if you play another burn you are not going to want to be paying life. At least with terramorphic you are not paying life. Contaminated ground is ok but if you put that on an opponents land your opponent might just say screw it and never tap it causing it to be unhelpful, personnally i find that pyromancer ascension of quest for the pure flame can be game winners in no time. I have one a lot of games with those cards against former champion decks like finkles greater good deck. Other than that it seems pretty solid but i deffinitely would cut back on fetch at least to one of each.

Also what do you use muse vessel for. i don't see how it helps this deck unless your using it to play cards from your opponents hand.

It looks to me like this is a burn deck that will either burn or make your opponent choose which i love burn. There are a lot of awesome burn cards out there. I think since you made this with cards you had on hand its not that bad. Better start then i had playing. I like decks that don't obbsess over cards like having four of it though sometimes its needed. This looks pretty good and i think it will get better over time
