Spidy-sense be tinkling... me likey alot :D

Seriously though, thanks to the both of you for helping me out. I have seen Tidehollow before, but somehow... someway.. my brain wasn't functioning properly. Even at this moment I'm having trouble understanding the full capacity of FFFFUUUUU- it gives... I'll definitely be hunting Sculler's Monday.

Hiya Dan =) Thanks for the comment on my Legacy deck, I'm here to return the favor

~_^

I think, if you get the chance/cash I'd highly recommend 2 x Serra's Sanctum and a full ps of Honor of the Pure. You could ramp your Figure of Destiny like a crazy person.
I don't know if you know, but the Legendary rule has changed, meaning you could:
Play a Serra's Sanctum wait a turn, then tap for an obese amount of mana, play another Sanctum, destroy the first, and tap the new one, doubling your mana, and who doesn't want that B-)

On another note; this deck looks very badass (pardon my French) how does it treat you? Wins? Losses?

@Logazor: Jens is absolutely right, it combo's so well with Meekstone, rendering many decks useless. The Legacy meta, where I play, is packed with Force of Will's, Tarmogoyf's, Daze's, Stifle's and Fetches. And Blind Ob + Meek can be very distupty against thos kind of decks ^_^

And don't worry about not being able to help - I like to explain it. I just hope I have done so well enough ^_^

Thank you =) however the Entombs are not just for Bloodghasts, they are for much much more ~_^ either Lands, Artifacts or Cabal Therapy. This deck wins when opponent decks out, or locks the board when all opp's critters ETB tapped and never untaps. Also Deathrite is insane by itself, he helps with extraction or fixes me Mana - it is not a fun feeling to be victorious with this deck, and its not why I built it. The reason is, these kind of deck are fun TO build, not so much battling someone. You could say - It's the thrill of the chase ^_^

I am going to add a couple of Scullers - that card is just bonkers with Cabal Therapy =O The reason I have 4 x Entomb is not just for the Bloodghasts, but also for land (Crucible) and artifact (Buried Ruin) but most of all Cabal Therapy. You see, I've had to deal with some Counter-heavy decks, also Goyfs, so I Entomb Therapy and sac a Ghast to remove other threats and hopefully have {B} to cast Extitpate and/or two life for Surgical. Sculler is downright dirty with cabal - good call, Jens ! I'll definitely think about Hymns.

Also, thank you SWN for the comment, made my day once more and gave me something to think about. You guys are awesome ! =D

Thanks for the comment :-) regarding the Isochrons - I really wanted to mainboard them, but i can't justify removing anything else. I see your point for more fetches, I do have 2 more Verdant's but I only have 2 swamps in here.
I'm honored for the 'Follow' =D
Hope you'll enjoy some of my libraries. I'll be sure to check some of yours too ^_^~

Oh yes. The maddening of a opposing mage. I suspect that when M15 hits, this will explode in price. Try Google "Waste Not M15" and here...we... GO!!

Sorry, Brian, but I've changed it back. I was sure that I had all those cards you've suggested, but after going through them all I only found 1 Blood Pet :-( the above list is what I have, sadly. Hope I haven't offended you by re-altering it back...

Thank you, SWN. You cheered me up with that comment. Yesterday I went through, and color-sorted, all my magic cards, and found a ps of 'Rite', so it's quite funny that you mentioned that card. I've added two and would really like to add two more. I just haven't got the heart to remove the Sol Rings, although it is a little tempting.

Wow, what a deck =O Makes me want to scrape some cash together and build this cool sucker =D

A way to gain more mana is to include a couple of 'Crucible of Worlds' for the 'City of Traitors' and 'Crystal Vein.'
Use, Recycle, Reuse ~_^
Funny enough, I´v been working on a copy which harvests mana like that B-) Only without the 'Traitors'

You´ve done quite an amazing job with this, Brian. Kudos, man =)

Hey man ! Sorry for the late reply, I´ve been meddling with a new Legacy deck - took it to FNM and got beaten to a pulp, haha. But learning is good =)
The Veil is way out of my budget, but she is a house ! I like that you suggested so many different cards, thanks, man =D Rotting Rats is just bonkers, and blood pet is going in this immediately. Reanimate is better, but I´ve already blow my budget with this. (It´s only for casual when I´m battling my nephew, and Wifey - yes, with a capital 'W' - says no, I´m bound to follow ^_^ )

I´ll return the favor after some sleep, promise =)

Well, it´s actually a major compliment. What I meant was; I think that this particular deck is very much what I´d like a Legacy deck to be ^_^ It has all the 'spices' and helluva lot more firepower.
Legacy Incarnate. Flawless.
...And my hat touched the floor

I think you´ve summed up Legacy quite nicely (<-- that´s an understatement ~_^)
However I think that a ps of Lotus Petal could help you get that...

I´ve replaced 3 x Aether Vial for 3 Expedition Map´s in order to get the theme for right.

If you think this could be improved, don´t hesitate with constructed criticism or friendly advice =)

Hope you like the story ^_^

Thank you, SWN, your comment made my day =) I can tell you, that you´re absolutely right about the Vial´s. They serve only one purpose; picture-wise. I am going to remove them, but I kinda imagine that this is what Hunter S. Thompson looked like - when the infamous scene from Fear and Loathing and Dr. Gonzo´s shaving kit strolled by, and he finds the little brown bottle. So it is only for the story of this deck.

Mainline:
Out in the swamps you find yourself looking for a buried ruin. Tales of a magical vial has crossed your ears more than once in the four cities of brass and you´ve also been told that once obtained, it will give you the enlightenment you so desperately seek - But just what exactly is this substance? Myths´ have foretold unmatched riches and undiscovered paradises to be yours, and who wouldn´t want that?

As you dig deeper, near a deserted temple, a strange blueish light appears and you finally find the entombed artifact. You hold it high, and think only of the riches which you will get from this potion, brewed from the darkest ashes.
The four diamonds you´ve paid for this information seems like nothing now. Desperately, you open the vial and drink the essence within . . .
You exhale and open your eyes. The blood in your veins pump rapidly and it feels like something is pulling your heart in three separate directions. Something is very wrong. No. No. No ! Your head feels like being split in two. You grab your face and now a feeling of your spine getting torn from your back emerges. You scream to the Heavens, as you black out...

The swamps have now become your tomb. A lake filled with death.
Several hours pass, and you awake, but cannot move ! It feels as though you are caught in wire, but as you head clears you notice that it is a straitjacket and you are locked up, trapped in a tower of sorts. Behind a vast fence, you are annexed a set of chains, but why?

Your foggy memory sends you terrible images of you, standing in front a giant maze, storm clouds forming in the horizon, quickly dominates your sight, and fills the entire setting with the thickest smoke and and the darkest soot. Suddenly four spirits is hovering above you. They point to a very small bridge. It´s clear that they want you to cross it, but when you approach, it all fades as the bridge suddenly twist and turn.

Awakened once more, healers and medical figures jets lightning into your screaming skull and your mind escapes from the back of your head. You must come to terms with, that it is forever lost in a ghostly prison... Only blind obedience toward shock-therapy endures, and your world comes to an end, all because of the chase for fool's gold. But at least and at last you are at peace. The pain is only passing and soon you will be at the castles in the sky . . .

I didn´t know you hated 'the pig' (in Denmark we call a pig, 'Gris') but I can somewhat understand your feelings towards that card. I made a reanimator with him once, so if by you saying you can´t stand the card, is it towards the unfairness it brings?
Elbrus, the Binding Blade could very well be a deal with a demon, but it has a high CMC and your Heartless Summoning won´t do much to aid.
So what I´m trying to say is; the deck is good as it is, and well thought of =) I bet you kick some rears with this. Flavor-wise I´d add a full ps of 'Cabal Ritual' - the art on that card could very well reflect a summoning, and the flavor also, plus you get a shirt-load of mana, quick.

Cheers
