how are you ever going to get what you need?
i seriously considered him! the problem is that i get most of my goblins for free! the only cards i ever really tap mana for are goblin lackey and goblin piledriver, so his kicker is worthless to me because i dont actually cast him. make sense? otherwise it would be a great idea!

yea mana drain is by far the best counterspell out there.. if you want this deck to be even more gay throw in 4 time walks. i dunno what you would take out but for 2 mana it gives you another turn! you should check out my decks!
i wanna play this with my goblin deck! this deck looks pretty mean but after turn 1 i dont really need mana to play the game, all i need is lackey to hit you then i can drop any goblin i have for free. the only cards this really messes up for me is koth and varacious dragon but even then alll i need is a brightstone ritual and i can play them as well... this deck does look pretty intense but i think i could take you down with my goblins. My goblin deck wins turn 4 about 90% of the time turn 3 7% of the time and turn <4 3% of the time

nice deck! soldiers are some of my favorite! My first deck ever was a soldier deck! you should check out my decks and give me pointers and such!
this looks like a pretty fun deck! here are the changes i would make -3 wall of deceit -1 wall of faith -1 illusionary wall +1 wall of frost +3 wall of omens +1 perimeter captain
but since this is just a fun deck you should swith out the counterspells for mana drains!
