i play a deck that's kind of similar.. not as much about the lockdown altho it does have Purity and Blazing Archon. Elvish Harbinger's are great to find the Piper and as a mana source, Convocation at Dawn could really work for you too.

that's definitely one option for it, i find the Phantom Warrior is underrated too, although i have no idea why.

generally its just good to have as many 'plan b' options as possible, wit Diplomatic Immunity i can still protect my lords if i don't get a Phantasmal Image, especially as the Image is so versatile.

Muddle the Mixture is a nice counterspell option as it doubles for a tutor for either the Lord, a Mist, or in my case Diplomatic Immunity as the Lord tends to have a target on his face as soon as he hits the board.

Diplomatic Immunity is cheaper than Xenograft, the protection from it is more secure, and the +1/+1 to the Lord isn't really needed as you wouldn't be attacking or blocking with him anyway.

It's also searchable via Muddle the Mixture. linked my illusions if you wanna take a look.

no way to sneak Doran, the Siege Tower in? would mean a lot of re-organising tho, i added Door to Nothingness to mine because it worked with Axebane and Tinder Wall but tbh that supposed 'alternate' win condition comes around more often than beating them down with the walls. Really tempted to add Shield Sphere after seeing your list tho

it might be worth swapping out one of your counterspell options for Muddle the Mixture, as that can also be used to tutor Lord of the Unreal.

i play Diplomatic Immunity in my Illusions deck to keep the Lord safe, Muddle can tutor that too, or even a Mist if you're already set.

Phantom Warrior is always good if you can find room for it.

I've ran illusions for a while, Diplomatic Immunity is perfect in combo with Lord of the Unreal and Muddle the Mixture can tutor either of them aswell as being a counterspell. Phantom Warrior is always good too.

Pelakka Wurm and Worldspine Wurm, as for an Elvish Piper, theres the trade-off of swapping out the Llanowar's for Elvish Visionary's, slightly slower but fetches the Piper.or it might be worth playing green and white for Congregation at Dawn or Altar of Bone to tutor it maybe opens up Armada Wurm too.

mine is a lil cheaper, I run Diplomatic Immunity for the Lord, and Muddle the Mixture both as a counterspell, or to tutor either the Lord, or Immunity, or both.

if you're playing W/G anyway maybe Congregation at Dawn instead of the flute?

swapping Elvish Harbinger for the Llanowar's or Vine Trellis is a great way to find the Piper and still provide a mana source, could mean losing those draws with a Llanowar out first turn, but can provide white mana too so thats down to personal preference.

Safewright Quest is handy too.
