Green Sun's Zenith is banned in modern play.... however, you could possibly use Summoner's Pact instead, if done right it could work out decently, or you could use Chord of Calling, which is also quite close to Green Sun's Zenith...

Oh, and the baubles aren't as good as they are way too slow as the card draw isn't until your next turn, where this deck has already won, or wants to win, before the opponent actually gets their turn. The deck only needs the protection of the mindbreak traps and the pyroblasts in the sideboard for against combo matchups and for against control matchups, respectively.

I actually haven't adjusted this since i actually made the deck, it is quite a bit different that this, plus it always goes off on turn 1. lol

Using seething song adds speed to the deck. the reason it is good is it helps you to play and activate charbelcher in the same turn, making it easier to win. I understand what you are saying about the tinder wall, the reason it works for me is i use Lotus Petal, Elvish Spirit Guide, Land Grand, as well as 1x Stomping Ground to help me be able to use the tinder wall effectively. And the best part about the Gitaxian Probe is it is a "free spell" because you can just pay the 2 life for it, which is what i always do in mine.

There really isnt a fast reliabke way to tutor for charbelcher, that I know of. A few suggestions that I have are to use Tinder Wall instead of Wild Cantor, use Gitaxian Probe over Urza's Baubke, and Manamorphose over Mishra's Bauble. I would also suggest using more Seething Song and possibly less Pyretic Ritual.

Seeing as how you are running black in this deck , I would strongly suggest you run some removal in this deck, but other than that, it looks pretty good.

Have you tried using 2x Gavony Township and 4x Sunpetal Grove? Overall, i think this looks like a good build.

No Undead Alchemist? I think that the Undead Alchemist would work really well in this deck, possibly dropping the increasing ambitions (really expensive) for a couple copies of the Undead Alchemist.

i would try to cut down on the number of 1x and 2x cards you have, and also i think there should be more than 1x stoic rebuttal in there, probably at least take out the 2x Fuel for the Cause to add 2x Stoic Rebuttal. I do like the idea though.

Why not use 4 copies of Rancor?

Birds would only slow the deck down, this is supposed to win no later than turn 5 or 6... also, woolly thoctar is a decent idea, ive been considering them but they are three mana and they don't have haste, there are better creatures to use than them like Rip-Clan Crasher, two mana for a 2/2 with haste or even goblin guides..... i was originally using loam lion and lightning helix, but i find that searing blaze is better for what I'm going for and I've been lowing the amount of white the deck needs because since i don't want to drop the money to get the original dual lands or the ravnica shock lands, two color majority is the best way to go...

might i suggest using Oblivion Ring instead of Journey to Nowhere? O-Ring only costs 1 more and you can use it on any non-land permanent instead of just creatures.

I think i would consider taking out the Elder of Laurels and either put in the Gideon's Lawkeepers or put in some copies of mentor of the meek.... also, while both have their advantages, it think the hero of bladehold will make the deck a little faster than the Angelic Overseer will

I actually think that, if anything, the boots are much better than the mask as the boots are cheaper and give haste, which can really make a difference, however, i do think that running both of them is a good move as giving your creatures hexproof, a possibility of 8 different creatures at one time, is very appealing with all the good removal that there is currently. Also, i do agree that you probably only need 2x Grimoire, but i think the cures will really help you to be getting creatures in your opponents graveyard to take with the grimiore, but i also do think that you need atleast 4 more islands. i would probably drop 2x Grimoire of the Dead and 2x Avacyn Mask for 4x Island and i think it would help the deck out a lot.

Might I suggest using Caravan Vigil instead of Rampant Growth? With the DIsmembers and the Prey Upon, you should be able to get the morbid for Caravan Vigil in order to have the land come into play instead of into your hand, and it opens up that mana for you to use on another spell, possibly another caravan vigil if it was in your hand... just a thought though....

That is something that I have been considering putting in, I'm just slightly worried about it slowing the deck down. It requires a total of 2 mana to play and equip it, were I could use that two mana on either a two mana creature or two one mana creatures and have some other creatures to swing with.... but i think i will definitely give adventuring gear a try

To help get up to the big creatures in the deck, you could use some infernal plunges instead of the priest of urabrask, maybe also putting goblin arsonist to sac with the infernal plunge.
