But you don't scavenge the imp. You dredge it. It dredges for huge amounts, and that fills your graveyard with scavengable things.

I do like Armament Master, but there are only a few Kor. I do have a Kor deck, though. Check out some of my other lists. Cranial Plating is just a more expensive version of Golem-Skin Gauntlets. Basilisk Collar is very good. I forgot to include it. I do like Accorder's Shield, but I feel it's more for the standard and limited formats. It's good, for sure, but I don't have a lot of things worth protecting. If I pull Knight of Meadowgrain, I might not have enough targets for epuipments. Probably, actually going to put in the Armament Master. There are a few more Kor than I had realized. And with the switch from Kithkin to Kor there should be more than enough benefit. I will include Emeria for the longer games. Heights goes for more Plains to trigger Emeria. And up the count of Tectonic Edges to 3.

But why not take them both out (and both swords, I guess) for something faster or different. They just don't make much sense. I say pull them for good magics. Not even running Lightning Bolts, dude. Izzet and Dimir Charms are extremely powerful, surprisingly. They're powerful simply through versatility. Remand. Draw cards. Pull Falls for Drowned Catacombs.

I think that the dredge mechanic and scavenge mechanic work really well together. This deck needs dredge, and some of the creatures need to go. Brushstrider goes for Stinkweed Imp. Gyre Sage goes for Golgari Thug. Putrefy goes for Maelstrom Pulse. Deadly Allure goes for something. Too much removal already.

Golgari Charm could wipe your apostles and other small threats, like if Ball Lightning decides he needs a reprint.

So many people build standard slivers. I nearly (though I don't, as the bro code dictates) weep at the thought. I hope it doesn't see competitive. Casual is fine. Competitive would make me cry. Almost.

I think if you eliminated some dual lands and relied on the power of monoblack creature removal, it is fully possible to build this deck so much cheaper. Somewhere around 60+ dollars cheaper. It certainly won't run quite as well.

Bloodthrone Vampire is a little smaller, but not to forget cheaper too. Faster the deck works, the better. Don't forget this is counted as an aggro deck.

Here's a tip: come back when standard isn't so damn messy. Usually it is. Or you can play modern like me. Or legacy, but that's crazy expensive.

Necromancer is definitely better here. Your Apostles sac for 4 damage apiece when the Bloodthrone goes through.

You still need something that happens when you sac. In modern there is Mortician Beetle, but I assume you'll want to keep the deck standard. Falkenrath Noble does ride the curve nicely, but he's a four drop, and then your deck runs much too slowly, with 6 already (Immortal Servitude counts. Nobody casts that for 0). You've got 6 2 drops as well, but I find a deck works most smoothly with more slots filled with twos than anything else. With so much sacrificing, I feel like itmis a shame to not add a little kicker. Personally I would remove an Immortal Servitude and a Mutilate for a half set of the Artists. Maybe that's just me, though.

Blood Artist are totally necessary for this deck. Sac outlets, sac targets, and Blood Artists. Makes the world go round, you know? Blood Artists go back in and we're talking about a really successful deck here.
