2/2s are actually pretty effective at attacking, I know it from experience of playing mono white weenies!

All fair comments but I've tried and tested the mana base and 18 works, Thundermaw is a last ditch throw if you're losing and just there to save you or get a quick 5 damage in, volcanic strength is actually very powerful with all the shock lands, with decks like Naya, Jund, RDW and Grixis

I disagree, if you punch hard enough with creatures I think you can get the damage through

I think Salvador would need to read the description to understand, if you just looked at the deck and not the reasoning you might get the same idea

Ok the Path idea didn't work, it slowed the deck down and weakened it and was unlikely to pull off the combo, so I went mono black in the end and came 4th

I disagree because American Enchantments slows down aggro and doesn't let you cast that slime. It locks aggro down completely and lets assemble the legion do its work. The only time I've lost to a deck like this is when they have dropped sphere and I don't have enough mana or guys due to all the enchantments removing my team, so pretty much its a staple of enchantments and will get even better when Theros comes out.

Sphere of safety is actually something that is really powerful in this deck

I came 4th at Fnm with no mythics or rares, black and red are the easiest non rare colours in my opinion

I would suggested spashing black for diabolic tutor and kill spells to deal with Jund and robots, you might want a few counterspells just to slow down storm/Tron/Jund/Junk/Burn/Melira Pod/Kiki Jiki.

Definitely only sideboard worthy in my opinion. What do you think of Jace AT or M14 Chandra, and if you really want to pump up barrage assemble the legion is just so powerful, it just locks out your opponent so quickly!
