It is true that having the right mana can make or break a combo, but that's true for everything in magic. Including land in your list of cards needed for a combo is irrelevant. Unless you have a really weird costing combo that requires a bunch of dual lands.

It's a four card combo. Gilded Lotus, Archaeomancer, Sage's Row Denizen/Talrand, Sky Summoner and Ghostly Flicker.
Doubling the chances of a mana combo is why i suggested Joraga Treespeaker, but Axebane Guardian is of a higher toughness, so he's probably the better choice.
Using the existing cards in this deck, the combo needed to activate infinite mana using Axebane Guardian is three cards. Freed From the Real, Axebane Guardian and another defender of any choice. I may have jumped to conclusions about why you are using Overgrown Battlement. I might have a better idea as to what your reasoning is if you told me.
A cards rarity in the current set its printed doesn't effect legality. In pauper a card has to have been printed in the common format in any set it was made in. It's kinda like how if they reprint an older card you can use your older version, just as long as a card with the same name has since been printed in that format.
Does Overgrown Battlement do anything besides adding one green mana to your mana pool? He seems slightly out of place. If you replaced him with Joraga Treespeaker then you could help your mana curve a little, while also adding an alternative to Fyndhorn Elder.
That's pauper for ya!
Petty, Sorin. It's called preparation. And being told by my mom to get off the internet and eat dinner... but more importantly preparation!!!http://www.mtgvault.com/hotpoloplayer/decks/suck-it-sorin/
You have started a war... Prepare yourself, foul demon!
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THAT OUT FOR SO LONG!!! ALL IT MEANS IS THAT I CAN'T USE THE LLANOWAR ELVES I ALREADY HAVE FOR STANDARD!!! IT JUST MAKES ME WANNA... SJHGAHJWEHRIORAIOTOUEGYASOUHTOUWOYITEAOIUTIOYAWO4SYOIJWILLWT$HOIAGOUYGISYRSTUIYRZEORTUWYIPUSÎÓˆ?¨GIRS;!!!
The only reason as to why that is, is because they are the only cards with a fog like ability. If you could have 12 copies of fog they would. Since they can't, they use whatever they can get.
If this deck was mine I would most certainly add two plains and swamps, but I'm assuming he used Orzhov Basilica for a reason so i tried to suggest something similar. I'm not sure why they changed Terramorphic Expanse into Evolving Wilds, but I'm sure there is some reason.
I personally agree. I think this deck fits that play style better than a turbo fog. I was simply explaining why he suggested it.
Exactly what i was thinking! Evolving Wilds is rotating out soon, but could still be useful until then.
Druids Deliverance is just there to act as another fog. Turbo fog decks run a ton of fog like cards to keep themselves from ever being damaged.
Nothing. Phantom Warrior is a rather old card so the wording is different, that's all.
I... Don't even understand what you just said...
If you are curious of the legality of a card, just click its name. Each card states their legality in the five main formats on its page. Just like each deck does.
A fine idea sir. Not sure if it'll make the cut but i will most certainly think about that.
A lot of them... A lot.
