I'd have 4 x Edge and only 2 x Scale, I reckon in this deck the +1 attack is more useful than the +1 defense. Other than that looking like a really well built deck.

If you have time take a look at my Mardu deck:

You don't have any spells that target Tormented Hero so I'd drop him. Personally I'm running Mardu Hateblade at lack of any other idea's that fit the warrior theme.

I also think Obelisk of Urd is an expensive option for what it gives you. I'd drop it for some cheaper creatures to feed butcher.

Check out my Mardu deck and see what you think: http://www.mtgvault.com/lordsunfin/decks/standard-mardu-warrior-horde/

We're looking at doing very similar things with our standard Mardu decks. Can I suggest that War-Name Aspirant is in most circumstances an upgrade to Borderland Marauder? Also murderous cut seems like a great way to make the most of Butcher's sacing your creatures.

I loved your use of Goblin Rabblemaster who I have now added to my deck, anyway maybe take a look at mine and see if any of the things I've gone for leap out at you?

I'd consider Cavalry Pegasus instead of daring skyjet!

I feel like Champion of the Parish has a home in this deck! Also do you really need the guildgates?

Hey so a few tips:

-You want your deck to be as close to 60 cards as possible so you are more likely to get your best ones out!

-Secondly to ensure you get your best cards down on the table you want to have 4 of most of your creatures/spells (now I know if you are new to the game you might not be able to do that yet).

OK now some specific Boros stuff (thats what we call Red/White decks):

-You want your manna curve to be bottom, this means having lots of cards with 1 or 2 casting cost with a few 3s and topping out at 4/5/6 but only having 3 or 4 of those cards.

Here's my deck that you can look at as an example: http://www.mtgvault.com/lordsunfin/decks/standard-boros-human-5/

If you've got any further questions feel free to ask :).

I'd replace 2 spears with Brimaz, I think he'd fit in with your theme of swarming creatures/tokens!

I'd use Hero of Bladehold!

Glad it was helpful :).

Somewhere in between the two; I do intend to build it but it'll be a gradual process over the next few months as the cards I don't own yet are the more expensive ones!

Yeah cool :) Sorry, I presumed from the current price of the deck budget wasn't an issue.

Maybe go for the guild gates then?

I'd drop some of those plains, your casting costs are very black heavy. Maybe get rid of all of your plains and run 4 x Temple of Silence and 4 x Godless Shrine.

A really great deck, love the idea!

Firstly I'd think Hammer of Purphoros would work well in this deck, gives your swarming creatures haste and can provide more creature tokens if your getting mana screwed.

Rootborn Defenses has a home in this deck I think (as least SD).

I'm not a fan of 4 x Temples in an aggressive deck so I'd consider replacing at least 2 of them with Mana Confluence.

Can I suggest replacing Skinbrand goblin with Ash Zealot. Better devotion and just a better card all around!

I'd also consider Prophetic Flamespeaker, great devotion, card advantage and with madcap skills or ordeal a truly brutal card!

Have you considered Aegis of the Gods, giving yourself Hexproof could be worth while? At least SD material in case you end up against a burn deck!

Really nice deck.

Personally I'd sidedeck your fiendhunter for either Champion of Lambholt, Silverblade Paladin or maybe even Frontline Medic.

I think you should have another 1 drop in there as well, I'd consider Student of Warfare or Soldier of the Pantheon.

I'd also take another look at your mana supply, obviously the shocklands are the best in modern but I think you'd benifit from Cavern of Souls or maybe even some search lands.

Anyway heres my Boros human deck: you might find something in there that interests you if you've got time to give it a look: http://www.mtgvault.com/lordsunfin/decks/modern-boros-human-2/

Really great deck, got a few suggestions though.

I don't think that the scrylands are the most effective card in aggro decks as they have to be on the curve to end the game in the first few turns!

I also think there are better 2 drops than Daring Skyjet, I'd consider Precinct Captain or maybe even Cavalry Pegasus since your only non-human is Brimaz himself.

Also at least consider Frontline Medic over Banisher priest as he protects you from over-extending and you've already got chained to the rocks to deal with the same issue.

If you've got time maybe look at my Boros Human Deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/lordsunfin/decks/standard-boros-human-3/

I think you've got a great mana curve and it has a good shape but I'd make a few changes.

Personally i don't think the scrylands work in an aggro deck where you need to be on the curve in the first few turns to end the game ASAP.

I'd also consider maindecking Boros Reckoner over the Viashino, as well as thinking about including Vexing Devil and Young Pyromancer.

I'd consider Nyxborn Shieldmate, one of the best bestow creatures IMO. Other than that looks like a quality deck!

I'd think about replacing the Fanatic with Ogre Battledriver as although he doesn't do anything the turn he hits down the next turn with all your low cost creatures it should be game over. If you do make that change I'd suggest adding Archetype of Aggression as that will allow your creatures to damage your opponent even if they get blocked.

Alternatively maybe replace Foundry Street Denizen with Legion loyalist.

Hope some of that that was helpful.

Nice looking deck. I've got some suggestions though.

First of all, I'd lose the scryland, your deck is fast and aggressive, a turn where you lay a land that is tapped is a turn wasted!

Secondly I avoid having 4 of one legendry creature in my deck; if you end up with more than one in your initial hand your opponent instantly has card advantage over you. Personally i'd lose to Brimaz's, and gain two Reckoners and swap and Ajani for another Heloid.

I also think there are better 2 drops out there then Daring Skeyjet, Wojek Halberdier could be one to think about.

I hope some of that was helpful.
