so you are using buried alive, reanimation spells and bloodbond march for the deranged hermit aren't you?

you totally need empty the warrens. I have a similar deck. if you run goblin tokens you need empty the warrens. and foundry street denizen.

night howlers are way better for sure. grim return, and march of the returned are some other good choices.

reviving melody has creature and/or enchantment and for what you have it is one of the best choices.

it should just be charging badgers and blood rushers. also satyr ramblers. and wildwood rebirths. and more armed/dangerous.

I use grave robber spider but I don't have night howler. you should think about using grim guardian. Treasured find might be something to consider.

auriok steelshaper can reduce cost by 1 colorless (in case you don't have the paladin) and when he is equipped he boosts soldiers and knights including himself.

yeah if I was thinking 4 archers plus 4 tuskers or more umbras instead. but right now this is what I have available. the boas do a great job blocking for me. especially since they regen for 1 green. The off chance my opponent plays blue then I switch everything to them. Which has happened. So I haven't really wanted to make the move on taking them out.

Thanks for the comment.

not all of us have the gift of using our insanity in such a creative fashion, my dear rabbit. some of us focus on using brutality as an art.

consumption is pretty good. I wouldn't rule that out just yet. I never did branch out into lifelink since this was originally created before such a wonderful ability was a regular thing. Thanks.

this works really well if you have unblockable creatures, there is a lot of them, use the card database here ot look for them and Amazon.com is another useful place to find more sellers. after that the cipher spells are really useful and effective. all of them are really cool so just try and concentrate on what you want to do. Mill, drain life, bounce etc. I noticed you don't have whispering madness. It is totally sick.

the you want to get some enchantments that trap the opponents creatures: ice cages, agoraphobia, etc. or you want to get some bounce spells like unsummon. or do both. the opponent will inevitably make better creatures and generate them faster than you can so you have to have a way to slow them down.

I have to dimir control decks if you want some ideas. "Mississippi Delta Blues" and "Plans Gone Awry" if you want something to look at.
both have different concepts.

cheers

you need cheap creatures to harness the power of battalion. legion loyalist and boros elite are two of my favorites. also the akroan hoplite and wojeck halberdiers.
Boros works best if you focus on buff spells and a few creatures, especially using the heroic ability, akroan crusader and arena athlete. Or boros really excels in the battalion ability, thats when the loyalist and act of treason (or similar) are really useful.
your creatures are great heavy hitters but boros needs to be able to get control of an opponent very early on. heavy hitters are necessary but mid to late game to finish off an opponent. that is up to you and what you decide to attack with: buff or battalion. combinations of the two can work but it was never enough for me to say for certain. however direct damage spells in conjunction with either play style is always useful.
Cheers.

azorius is a tough concept for people to wrap their minds around. it is about defense/stall and drawing out the game for a slow steady ever increasing win. It almost never goes on the offensive.
Its even harder to build a deck that wins. this looks pretty good.
