im the same way. i do 63, but because of it, you lose the need for draw cards. not tooooo savy on standard to find if there are any fillers, or fetch lands.

lol kinda funny, but you have 61 cards, and 3 Think Twice
drop one of those think twice, and you can draw a card for free if you catch my drift :)

no problem, i mean you can use a hydra to pour mana in, that way you have a good beginning or late game creature.

a good modern deck will gain too much momentum. if you are only playing locally and it works for you, great. to each their own. it does however have room for improvment.

expect the unexpected, your gonna need a removal spell or your going to suffer. you have great ramp, so i feel like this is just redundent, i mean when you have enough mana to cast Omniscience, how many cards will be sitting in your hand? get rid of it, use bramble, that way you have some kind of removal. you don't know where the threat will come from but a planeswalker or a new creature in another set could easily stomp around if unchecked.

what would you take out, or would you just sideboard, cause i played one of my friends and i don't think there is much room for improvement. pretty solid deck.

noviax, so what your saying is that you only use 2 of some cards cause that is what you own? what whould you change if you had a playset of everything? what would you take out and what would you run 4 of?

TY for being helpful and constructive. so you believe that it is impossible to turn this into some kind of combo deck? something around the needs of fling/undying/fling?

here is the link to my deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/mdiakne/decks/elf/
4 zeniths, because in an elf deck, i can whip out any card in my deck for one extra mana. so when i have 4 of a card, i technically have 8, and the 1x cards i have, i have 5. and if i don't need a creature, i can cast zenith for just one green and put out the arbor land, since its a 0 cost green creature ^_^

my elf deck has fixes as well as draws, its tier 1. it uses the mana to have 4 green sun zeniths to draw any elf that I need, as well as a wirewood to keep putting them in my hand to recast. check it out, im sure my post will get overlooked anyway lol.
