Yes, it does have a problem with aggro decks unless I get Hymn to Tourah which really ruins most hands. With Hymn and Chain of Smog/Wrench Mind/Duress, my opponent usually will have no hand by turn 2-3 assuming it's an aggro deck.

Always wanted to see a poison deck in action seems really cool to win a game other then taking your opponent to 0 life. I would like to suggest adding trample to the deck, possibly Rancor or Primal Rage.

Light of Sanction is an amazing card but I tried to make my giant deck the best/as fast as it could be while still being Standard legal, it's really tempting to pick up!

Hammerfist Giant can tap to deal 4 damage to each creature without flying and each player. However, the Light of Sanction prevents damage to your creatures from damage by sources you control, which makes the ability kind of one-sided. It looks like a good deck, only thing I have to complain about is that most of your creatures have really high mana costs.:P But you do say your friends hate the deck so it doesn't sound like you have a problem getting your giants out before the game is over.

I have built many tribal decks and this is the only one I would use Coat of Arms in only because I am producing many many bears from many of my spells. it's a double sided card I know but bears are going to be coming into play left and right and it would be silly to not add Coat of Arms into such a deck in my own personal experience anyways. Thank you kindly for the rating. :) Only reason I did not add Werebears because I was planning on flushing out my graveyard to make more bears with Bearscape which would make it impossible to get Threshold, although his flavor text is pretty awesome haha.

Cookie for you for using one of my favorite creature types! I would suggest adding a/some spells that would buff your Kavus I see that you have Rite of Passage but who would block such big creatures unless they could kill it? I would Suggest Gia's Anthem, Gauntlet of Power, or Door of Destinies instead also some mana acceleration would help a ton, I know for sure it does with mine. Good luck with your future decks!

There's nothing really I could think of to add to this to pump up my Kavus other then door of destinies, I've had a falling out with Coat of Arms because it can also work for my opponent and I really dislike to use cards that have a two sided blade. Besides Kavus are already pretty strong, with Rage Reflection and the Monarch in play not much can stand in their way. I could probably fit in Fertile Ground to replace Hull Breach but I feel that being able to remove an enchantment and/or an artifact is too useful to pass up.

Thank you both for the suggestions! I was highly considering AEther Vial but I really didn't want to drop any of my soldiers. Besides with a Daru Warchief in play most of my soldiers become really cheap to play, he is also a great card for pumping up/protecting my soldiers from board clearing.

Elite Vanguard is a creat card for only costing 1 mana but I prefer Deftblade Elite purely for provoke it has saved me in several games when I needed to remove an annoying creature. I was looking at Preeminent Captain for some time but I really don't feel it being as useful as some of my other spells, would definitely be amazing if I had some higher costing solders in my deck but since the costs are fairly low I stuck with Soltari Champions.
