I've thought about Blast, but couldn't find space... ...Thassa's unblockable ability usually gives you the victory in time with Nykthos(you just make every or at least most of your creatures unblockable)... ...though Thassa might be better off as a 3 of... ...anyways, I forgot about Icy Blast when I was building the sideboard & I think instead of Wall of Frost, it'd be amazing... ...Walls ain't so good with Military intelligence anyway.......Curse of the Swine is not so good now since there are less Devotion decks & that card is best for disrupting Devotion... ...those 2/2-s can still pose threat at times, so I guess I'm gonna' drop Curse...With these 5 cards out of the sideboard, I could use 3 Icy Blast & perhaps 1-2 more counters & may be 1 more Intelligence...

Man... ...this deck works really good!.. ...definiately doesn't need Void Snare... ...perhaps a 2nd Military Intelligence in the main deck, but I also need the 4 Fate Foretold... ...perhaps both Illusory Angel should be sideboard... ...not sure about that either.......

Swan Song can be very disadventegous against aggro decks & such, so I won't play it mainboard... ...when I'm up against a deck that's strong on discard effects, I sideboard both Negate & Swan Song(perhaps all of them)... ...it's pretty much enough..........if they remove a counterspell of my hand, they probably won't be able to do the same to the Phoenix, so it's if I countered Thoughtseize with a spell & my opponent still lost the 2 life for it, so it's worse than if I actually countered it & I also didn't had to pay mana for the counter spell... :)Besides, against this deck, that 2 life loss from Thoughtseize can be match deciding, especially if more than 1 were cast... ...the burn in this one is really fast & strong & the Phoenix also deals 2 when it turns face up + 4 damage/attack(hard to block)... ...the thing I'm most afraid of is Magma Sprey, but I can counter that as well(if the opponent plays it, I sideboard all 4 Negates & 1-2 Swan Songs)... ...though Anger of the Gods is also effective against the Phoenix, but since I don't run many creatures here, it wouldn't be an ideal card against this deck.......Even if they get rid of 1-2 Phoenix, I can easily find another one unless I'm very unlucky(Huge amounts of Scry in the deck & also some draw effects)...
Sure you can gaze up on it, but it won't suck itself...
Yeah, it's useful at times & when I need more, I just sideboard them... ...I'd like to run 2 Downfall in the main, just not sure what to take out... ...may be I should really consider playing all 3 Goblin Slide in the sideboard.......

It's fine... ...actually turned out to be competative against any type of standard deck now... ...but I wouldn't take it to anywhere beyond FNM.......

Ashiok here is amazing... ...casting it after a wipe gives you a huge adventage & having 3 of him makes it able to draw damage to him from attackers, keeping you alive, then just playing another... ...with as much draw effects as I have here, it's not hard to achive.......
Thought about it of course, but I'd never need more than 1... ...cuz of multiple reasons...
