But he has cards with Black mana symbols in the casting cost. That defy's the rules of the whole format. His commander has GG and a card like Necropotence has BBB. BBB is illegal in the deck due to the mana symbol not matching to the commanders color prompt. That's what I was saying was illegal. It says on the website of examples that couldn't be used:

"A deck with Phelddagrif (Casting cost 1UWG) as the Commander may not contain any cards whose colour identity includes red or black.
These cards would all be illegal in a Phelddagrif deck:
Goblin Piker (Its mana cost contains a red mana symbol)
Elves of Deep Shadow (Its ability contains a black mana symbol)
Talisman of Dominance (All sorts of verbotten mana symbols)
Life//Death (Three shall be the number of the colours)
Degavolver (... right out)
Our Phelddagrif couldn't use any of these lands:
Underground River (Obvious, see above)
Godless Shrine
Badlands
Leechridden Swamp, etc)
Phelddagrif may not call upon Boros Guildmage for help"

I saw Keldon Marauders as the only red source. If you just use the triggers right this could be the win con after worldfire triggers :)

That's what would make this deck work really really well. I'll research some red or colorless alternatives to thrag :)

Like good card wise or just a horrible set in general?

But why worry about a top deck compared to just instawinning without any problems? You have the ramp, just use it to play a Thragtusk and just win next turn without having to rely on a top deck at all

That's not what I see in the rulebooks. You have cards with a different mana symbol then your edh Commander which is illegal to do.

Exert from Wizards.com: "Only cards of the commander’s color(s) and colorless cards may be included in the deck. (Note that split cards and hybrid cards count as all of their colors.) In fact, if a card contains a mana symbol anywhere on it that’s not one of your commander’s colors, you can’t include it in that deck! Within the game, if you would add mana to your mana pool that’s a color not shared by your commander, you get colorless mana instead."

Here is the link for more reassurance: http://www.wizards.com/magic/tcg/article.aspx?x=magic/rules/edh

So there's two different rules that contradict each other? Doesn't matter what the color identity is, if it has a mana symbol that's illegal for the deck then it's not a playable deck

How will he do this when he dumps his hand due to worldfire? It resets back to normal and he has to rely on a top deck just like his opponent.

Honestly this deck is horrible, how will you win when you reset everything back to normal? They could easily win just as easy as you could. You guys are back to square one without and gain. You need creatures that when the leave the battlefield they make a dude or something because that way they can't do anything in response and they would die because of it. Thragtusk is a KEY card for this deck. Maybe look into some other cards similar to add in so you can have a definite win under your belt compared to you having to rely on luck.

How are you able to play this? You kinda break the EDH rules of sticking to your commanders colors so this deck isn't playable by those standards.

Lol I love it because no matter how you play infect its so broken. You remove life gain decks from the equation, you cut the amount of life you need to kill them in half ( or if edh 1/4) and you can just match up against aggro decks if you build it right ;D

Honestly, those are all horrible in this deck, Gargoyle has no purpose in this deck whatsoever. Bracer's just don't cut it for this deck, I don't need to double the damage when I do a SHIT ton as it is. I could always just blasphemous act and then lightning bolt for pretty much all the damage I need.
