Mmmmmm, Stoneforge Mystics and Swords and Batterskulls. Nice. Don't understand they're banned in Standard anymore, but nice deck!

O,o This is basically the same as the one that Jacob van Lunen came up with on his Building on a Budget blog, except the name is the other way round. Nice looking deck though but I've never seen how Death's Shadow can be a viable card really.
Damn you sure and your terrible and all powerful Kokusho combos!
Lol, pulling that out of the bag would be mental. Glad I don't play against anyone who has anything like this. =D
Lol, I do agree with the Jace thing, but I don't see anything wrong with Stoneforge Mystic. Anyone heard of Doom Blade or Mana Leak?
O.O It truly is.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=191263 That's what I'm messing around with in my Esper deck. I think Some Grand Architects might be fun in that to say the least.
You still gain life from lifelink even if you're blocked? Well, thats new. I guess you learn something new everyday.
I wish I had more dual lands. I got a bunch in the Infect and Defile event deck. I need to get some Creeping Tarpits for it, and some Inkmoth Nexuses but they're just as expensive as a Jace Beleren and I think I'd rather have Jace. I also do love G/R/W decks, especially the Woolly Thoctar and Knotvine Mystic combo. Tap a single mana and put a 5/4 on the field. And I've just noticed you have a Progenitus in there. Isn't that a bit unfair?
Wow, I never realised how awesome that Grand Architect card is...... I might have to get some as well.
Doesn't lifelink depend on you doing damage to your opponent? Also, if your opponent blocks you and you rely on your creatures for life and you lose them, won't you be a bit stuck?
Just noticed that most of your creatures are 1-3 mana so that's not really a problem. Still think you may need a few large life giving spells though.
I may be wrong, but going through the deck, there doesn't appear to be that many life giving spells. I've seen the creatures that give 1 life when other creatures enter play, but it's not really life gain on a large scale and it relies on you bringing in new creatures every turn.
Fair enough. I'd like to see a completed version, it looks like it could be a very nice deck.
It's a nice looking deck, but why have so many singles? Wouldn't it be more productive to consolidate all those counters and such into 2 or 3 different types which will make them more likely to be obtained? Same with the creatures and is there really much point in Persuasion and Unholy Strength?
That's a nice looking deck. How quickly can you get a Godsire out on the field? Turn 4 at the least right? I love Titanic Ultimatum as well, it's a game finishing card if there was one. Also, I got a deck with the dual lands in a few days a go. You were right, they make a huge difference especially when you have a something like Mana Leak and Doom Blade in your hand and you don't know which one to play.
I like this combo. I use the glassdust hulks in my esper deck and power them up by returning and playing Parastic Strixes. Only thing I can see going wrong with this is if someone can get out a red deck with enough mana on the field to put down enough damage dealing spells or counters all attempts to the Hulks. You need a hell of a lot of mana very quickly to make it safe to play.
Ah, I see what you mean. I've had a few slow days. I'll have to find a work around on that then.
Also, when I get a terramorphic expanse, the first land I usually go for is a Swamp, unless I already have one and then it's whether I need Islands or Plains.
The definition does include land within it and since Swamp is a land (obviously), it coems under the category of a permenant.
