I could see the use of war barge in the deck haha would be an awesome fit with dandan! You can also kill your opponents creatures with the barge if needed. Also unstable mutation could provide with a lot of power for dandan!

Hi! I have an EDH depala deck but never played a regular game with vehicules. First, I'd drop 3x sol ring, as it is not legal in any format to have more than 1. Then, I'd either drop depala or switch your admirals and fanatics for dwarf cards (admirals for aethershield artificer and fanatics for sram, senior or gearshift ace). This way, you have more dwarves to draw with depala.

Then, I think you have to little vehicules and too much booster. Modifications are great, but the strength of vehicules is that they are not creatures when not needed. They are imune to destroy creatures spell. If you make them creatures all the time, you lose this ability. I'd keep a maximum of 2 of each. I'd replace them by dwarf cards or dwarven recruiter.

To take advantage of the fact vehicules are not creatures, why don't you change your 2x gleam of autority for 2x wrath of god or 2x fumigate?

land tax is cool, but I think you need cultivator's caravan. Nice vehicule that gives you a land and no need to crew to use it! Fleetwheel cruiser is also pretty awesome as it has haste.

I'd switch 2x assembly for 2x skysovreign or I'd consider using smugler's copter that can be crewed with the thopters or you could use 2x metalwor colossus.

Cheers

hi! can you explain the use of your commander? You have so little things that can be kicked, that I wonder what is its use beside being a 3/3 trample. thanks

great deck! Two things, I wonder about the speed/mana ramp! Maybe find some room for angel of the sun? What about using thran dynamo rather than gilded lotus? it's one turn quicker, I'd prefer that even if its colorless mana.

then, you have no removal spell. If there's one card clugging your deck, you can't remove it.

my 2 cents! Cheers!

nice deck! I wonder if phyrexian dreadnought would be better than artisan of kozilek. If you have a torpor orb, I don't believe the artisan's ability to bring back creature will resolve

I totally agree with that. You should lower the number of cards in the deck. I would take out nezahal and tetzimoc to avoid playing only 1 card of theses color so you don't get stuck with them. They don't play a major part in the deck anyway. Keep the unclaimed territory as it will help playing 3 colors! you can also drop both mayael's aria if you want your deck to be standard legal. You can't reach the final bonus anyway and dinos are already strong enough. I'd drop the radiant champion too. I'm unsure you will have that many creatures at the same time because they cost a lot.

Then I would, as suggested, find a build that would suit you. As I see it, I would use 4x raging regisaur to pump my own siegehorn ceratops or use trapjaw tyrant/silverclad ferocidons aweosme abilities. It is also pretty good with temple altisaur. I would keep ghalta/gishath and zacama as win con that you get from the forerunners, but would drop couple of the others (flying, etc).

Or play 4x wayward swordtooth in order to cast ghatlta much quicker (then add more ghalta)

if you scroll the mouse over legality, illegal cards will appear. To be standard legal, you have to take out boros garrison, rugged prairie and mayael's aria.

Hi! I agree with leste1mr. If you don't want to keep it modern (because it is banned in modern), I would add 4x seat of the synod and 4x ancient den. If so, I'd replace Glacial fortress by Glimmervoid. The deck would benefit a lot from the costly mox opal.

couple ideas

I'm unsure about 2 things, the speed of the deck and the limited life gain.

I'm afraid of the one with the machine - archive - mycosynth golem combo. Playing your cards if you draw 22 cards will rely really much on having a mycosynth out. I'd put 4x of them then. Otherwise, you will rely on your 2x elixir to avoid being decked out. Anything that destroy one of them might leave you dead sooner. I don't know, I'd either lower the number of One with the machine or replace them with thoughtcast.

In search of speed, I'd switch the lantern for thran dynamo. You don't have that much use for the color of mana since your angel cost 8 (I'm not sure you will gain that much speed from the golem).
I don't get the use of the lattice. You don't really need your opponent to have artifacts. It will much likely help them cast all their stuff with any mana. If you wanna life gain with the lattice, you should use golem heart or leonin elder. Golem heart should be used anyway in the deck as a real uncostly good artifact lifegain.
Also, myr incubator seems like a bad idea along with elixir of immortality, as it removes your artifacts from the game.
Could probably replace them with cloud key or etherium sculptor or foundry inspector or anything that will help you cast artifacts sooner.
If the incubator was a sort of wild card, I'd replace them with Metalwork colossus or broodstar or frogmite.

to make it a 60 cards deck, I'd cut 2 lands, ward of lights, shelter and grafted exoskeleton.

I'd try to make room for 2x cranial plating. Do you really use brass squire? I'd replace them with 1x ardent recruit and probaby 1 of the 2 cranial plating.

fun deck!

I'd drop the boldwyrs, as I feel it'd be too dangerous tu use, especially since you don't have much removal. At turn 4, you also won't have a bunch of giants out. Can the deck handle an Emrakul turn 4 or any big eldrazi/indestructible/flying creatures? I'd replace it with extraplanar lens probably to get the deck a bit faster. Price would hike a bit though!

Nice deck! I'd find a place for rhox faitmender. Maybe replacing the loxodon or titan. I wonder if well of lost dream would make you draw more than dawn of hope!

Cheers!

this deck idea was born after me and a friend tried to build a weenie deck around samite healer! The krrog are freaking bad lol but if I drop the number of artifacts too low, I feel like I'll have a bad time playing living artifact which is indeeed much better!

The ifh-biff was there to lower the CMC as a replacement for triskelion which was more suited to the deck but with a high casting cost!

The mind bomb was there to avoid being overrun by creature by making opponent discard a lot!

Ivory tower would be awesome, but the deck is quite cheep, so I don't feel I would hold cards long enough to gain life! Maybe find room for healing salve or instill energy to either gain some life or have people lose more.

Maybe veteran bodyguard could help me more in this deck, replacing the efreet. Would cover all life lost by mind bombs or copper tablets. I even thought about ditching the ifh-biff for fungusaurs haha

psychic purge is bad I admit! But it's a little less bad than rod of ruin haha!

I suppose it would be better with giant growth/unstable mutation/berserk/blood lust/holy strenght!
I'd be curious to see a johan-meekstone weenie! If you feel like trying to do one, I sure wanna see it! I've never seen anyone playing johan, might be a good card for your obscure card challenge! Trying to keep it old school as I'm not building new kitchen deck anymore!

haha I get that! I don't know why they made them this bad! Even the overlord is like not good haha! I have a good kitchen table kobold deck running along metallic mimic, mirror entity, steely resolve and protean hulk!

I'm always the one trying weird decks but this johan/kobold might be too much haha!

haha no worry! I'm glad you took a look at it! Adding wild growth and more BOP is indeed much quicker than apprentice wizards!! Got a lot of mana fast while playtesting, so ditched 1x gaea's touch.

switching counterspell to powersink is also pretty good idea! Still kept the drain.

The regenerations were there to protect the liege, since the lands are returned to their original form if Liege leaves play! I might switch them to avoid fate (which seems a bit better than flash counter to protect the lieges).

Magical hack is also a pretty good idea if I can't keep me liege on the table. The lifetaps won't be usuless then!

Couple cards you mentionned that would make great sideboards! We added the no sideboard rule since OS is quite expensive and we do a friendly tournament! To avoid having people investing and making great decks that becomes usuless because of a sideboarded (ex. city in a bottle) card seemed a bit too harsh for us haha!

I did a lot of changes and will playtest some more tomorrow! I'll let you know then!

playtested a bit with manastack. the valley and caretakers felt like I didnt needed that much earthquake. Got down to 3 and got down to 3 ball lightning to make room for 2 bloodlust. Tried without the balls but I felt like lacking some power.

in all I did
-1 city of shadows
-2 sacrifice
-2 su-chi
-1 ball lightning
-1 earthquake
+1 diamond valley
+4 hell caretakers
+2 bloodlust

Thanks for the feedback!

DIAMOND VALLEY feels like a must in the deck! I'll try to get one, replacing the city of shadows (which was already out, I forgot to correct the list haha!)

I don't know how I feel about FALLEN ANGEL! it's a costly creature for a 3/3. I'm afraid It'll come too late in the game when I hope to already have a couple flying rukh and a strong Ghoul and nothing left to sacrifice.

HELL'S CARETAKER : It will be in for sure. I just realised that it was an "infinite" rukh combo if you have 1 rukh egg in graveyard and 1 on the board! I free rukh every turn! or more if you have more than 1 caretaker on the board. I'm not sure on the number of copies I should run (will playtest with 4 and lower if needed).

About the ball lightnings, I added them as I thought it was a great fit. It will always go to the graveyard, so good for the ghoul! you can also sacrifice it with sacrifice or hell's caretaker after it attacked since you sacrifice it at end of turn. you can also use them with animate dead and they are still strong. That's why I didnt let the RRR stop me from adding the card.

The sacrifices were there as accelarators! Used on a rukh, you can almost cast another one or get a free ghoul! I fear that by taking them out, the deck will become much slower.

The earthquake are there to kill my eggs and avoid being destroyed by weenies! I don't intend on spamming big quakes!

I created a copy of the deck with some changes.

-1 city of shadows
-2 sacrifice
-2 su-chi
+1 Diamond valley
+4 hell's caretaker

I'll playtest the new deck and play with bloodlust/caretaker/ball lightning!!
Thanks for the input!! I'll check out your other reviews!!
