Deck Description

Built around Web of Inertia

How to Play

Force opponent's creatures to attack each other with Maddening Imp or Siren's Call, but keep them from attacking me with Web of Inertia.

Remove cards from graveyards with Phyrexian Furnace, Ebony Charm or Tormod's Crypt to take advantage of Web of Inertia and Gravestorm.

Ebony Charm can also be used to give an opponent's creature fear when attacking another opponent.

Prevent major non creature damage with Dissipate and slowly win with Subversion and Sleeper Agent.

Obviously mill, creatureless and enchantment/artifact destruction heavy decks usually win against this, but it's still really fun.

My favorite deck in a 3-4 player game.

Deck discussion for Empty the Crypt

Another original deck by you! Great decks man. Only issue can see with this is getting overrun on an attack. Hissing Miasma? Or maybe a couple of chump blockers like Fog of Gnats?

Thanks for the suggestions! The Siren's Call is in there to keep me from being overrun, but it probably would be good to have something like Fog of Gnats early on.

ok, very cool interaction between siren's call and inertia web. :)
have you thought of adding bojuka bog in here?

Maddening Imp does the same thing as Siren's Call. I have Siren's Call just in case I can't get a Maddening Imp or if he gets destroyed. Without that combo with Web of Inertia the deck doesn't work.

I'd definitely put Bojuka Bog in if it was pre modern.

well sure, maddening imp does the same thing.

why the pre-modern limitation?

No good reason. I guess I just like the aesthetic of having all older cards.

I see. well, that is fine I guess. :) either way this deck looks very fun to play with.

Very cool deck. +1 from me. I'm not sure if you need that much graveyard hate. Propaganda would probably do really good here if you can't get the Web out.

the graveyard hate simply makes the combo work that much more consistently. can't exile a card from an empty graveyard.

Oh I know why it's there. I just don't think you need as much as you have. Especially if you play Propaganda. As well I don't think Sleeper Agent is a good fit to this deck. More often then not it will be a 2 damage for 1 mana if your deck is doing what its suppose to be doing are you not just giving your opponent a good sacrifice option? In addition Underworld dreams may be another card to consider. adding a bit of a clock to the game once your lock is in place.

could be fun to use blood artist instead of sleeper agent. but the deckbuilder will only use pre-modern cards for some reason.

When I've played this in a four player game I usually barely have enough stuff to remove cards from graveyards to avoid being attacked. Propaganda would be a good if I can't get Web of Inertia out, but that usually isn't a problem.

I thought Sleeper Agent was perfect for the deck :( It deals two damage and then the opponent who controls it has to attack and could potentially deal three damage to another opponent. Also at the end of the game when I have only one opponent left and they can't attack me it deals two damage to them every turn.

Blood Artist would be cool in a lot of my decks, but I don't spend that much on cards and like you mentioned, pre-modern.

I hate to be that guy, but I was hoping to get some feedback on a deck. I marked it unloved, and nobody has looked at it... :(

any comments and suggestions on how I might improve it would be really awesome. I would be happy to look at yours in return.

Have anyone mentioned that there is a little known turn 1 kill combo with phyrexian furnace involving a single dark ritual in the grave ? It's a premodern combo that I can't remember at the moment, but it's out there.

Can't imagine what that combo would be. Sounds neat though.
