Deck Description

Know your enemy, know yourself, and in 100 battles, you will never lose. This is a deck based on the major themes of the Art of war which I honestly have yet to read in its entirety, which coincidentally enough, goes against the teachings of the art of war. Anyway, Sun Tzu espouses that knowledge is power, desperation is fuel, control is vital, morals are frivolous. So this deck spies, evades, undermines and all that good stuff.

How to Play

There's a lot going on here which is never a good sign. You can try to control what's in your own hand by using one of the draw abilities such as offered by enclave cryptologist to reach required counters for archmage ascension. That would let you get Hada Spy patrol with the quietus spike or exoskeleton to approach an endgame. Obviously, venerated teacher is just in there to speed that along. Other than that, this deck buys a little time without diverting from that primary goal and provides a very low mana curve and inexpensive library. Also, takes advantage of a few other play strategies like mana spawn. Not to the greatest extent, but it's there. Not sure if I'm going to buy this deck in it's entirety, but I might use it for some ideas later.
