I bought a bunch of stuff that I thought would do cool things together. This is I think the second most effective combination of the stuff I dropped. I had originally intended something more this direction; I really liked the idea of cycling mad -1/-1s from the snipers/archfiend. But when I thought, Hrm, Soul-Scar would be useful here, and it was, so much so that I ended up making a different version with less cycling and more creature burn that proved promising.
