I play a lot of EDH with friends and usually have multiple opponents. What better way to control the field then to make yourself the least appealing target? Make people lose a LOT of life and mana every time they think of attacking you and simply swing back with vampires in order to heal yourself as the game slowly goes in your favor.
Stall and set up a vampire swarm while slowly draining your opponent's of life. If unsatisfied simply keep swinging with Teysa who is unblockable to get the commander damage in.
